WOW what a place !

It’s been over 20 years since I visited . And I have always dreamed of coming back with my parents one day.
We found this hidden gem , and so glad we did.

EXCLUSIVE lodge for $220 pp per night, including 2 game drives a day.
This amazing ‘salt of the earth’ lodge, is solely owned by a South African whose only adjective is the park and the animals being sustained for many generations to come.

Nearby is where a game drive will cost you $85 per drive, twice a day, on top of your room costs. This makes
a exclusive lodge so economical.

Can take up to 10 adults plus multiple children. Fantastic options for multi generational adventures. A VERY special mention to both Evan and Jumari ( an amazing couple who oversee all operations and game drives) you both made our trip unforgettable and I wish you both all the best in the future.

Overseas Dental 🦷 *** Smiling in photos has always been an insecurity for me, and for many others that need dental work done.

More and more people are looking overseas for a more affordable option. Granted this used to be a ‘no,no’, but standards have risen in the race for market share.
Especially in Vietnam and the Philippines. Highly educated and driven dentists in both destinations. Making it difficult to justify the AUD cost for an implant or veneer.

5 years ago I made the decision to travel to Vietnam for the first time and start my truly life changing dental journey. And have not looked back.

*** 2025 Travel ***

As I welcome in the new year and look forward to my cleints 2025 travels plans, I wanted to give some insights into 26/26 travel trends. What's new, what's hot, what's too busy, hidden gems, and value for money travel ideas.

* Italy will be exceptionally busy this year being a Jubilee year. My best advice is to book asap to secure your spot. And pre book all your day tours as they will sell out months in advance.

* Snorkelling - where to go for the best snorkelling. Fiji is the answer. As the waters of the earth warm, the coral fades. But Fiji still has some truly amazing, unspoiled spots where the snorkelling is the best of the best. Great value at half the price of the Maldives, close to home, and amazing reefs

* Value for money ideas.............Croatia or Vietnam. Depending on your idea of value. Both destinations are stunning, offer great history. Amazing foodie destinations, will leave you wanting more.

* The Poles. Over the last 18 months I have seen a huge increase in clients wanting to visit both the Arctic and Antarctic. Again, this seems driven by changes in the weather, animals and environmental preservation. The Poles are very popular currently, please book ahead.

* Saudi Arabia. This is a NEW destination for 2025/2026. If you would like to see this country before it changes, you need to visit now. Don't wait. It will be the newest high end holiday destination giving Dubai and Maldives a run for their money.

* Overseas Dental. This used to be a 'no no', but standards have risen in the race for market share. Especially in Vietnam and the Philippines. Highly educated and driven dentists in both destinations, making it difficult to justify the AUD cost of a implant or veneer.

* Workcations. The rise of remote work has led to an increase in “workcations” — trips that combine work and leisure. So much so, that leading cruise lines are installing Starlink onboard in the hope to capture a younger market, happy to work and play. Hotels around the work are creating communal workspaces for those that wish to work, travel, network and meet new people.

United Kingdom - Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)

From 8 January 2025, Australian passport holders will require an ETA to travel to and enter the UK. Applications for Australian passport holders will open today, 27 November 2024.

You can get an ETA visa if you're:
• going to the UK for up to six months for tourism, visiting friends & family, business or short term study
• transiting through the UK (including not passing through UK border control)

ETAs will cost GBP10 and are usually granted within 3 business days. On some occasions it may take longer. ETAs are valid for two years or until passport expiry, whichever is sooner. You can travel to the UK as many times as you like whilst the ETA remains valid.

ETAs are compulsory for Australian passport holders arriving in the UK on or after 8 January 2025. This includes the transits referenced above.

Please note that the above information is applicable for Australian passport holders only. Other nationalities may have different obligations with regard to ETAs.
