Woody smashed his 200m open water swim this morning with . He's been having swimming lessons for just over 12 months and just hit level 12. His favourite stroke is butterfly and he favours distance over sprints. Most of all he loves his lessons, the friendships made, his awesome teachers (big shout out to Cade and Kodi Lee) and challenging himself each week. Congratulations to all the swimmers today!

I was searching through a box today and came across these photos from my youth! I spent a Winter in Tahoe, California teaching kids to ski and making the coolest friends! I can honestly say it was a huge turning point in my life emotionally and spiritually and I've never looked back! I have reconnected with some of these beautiful people but would love to find the others!

Pictured below are Emily, Jen Stacey, Andrea and Lucia but whatever happened to Molly, Pat, Danelle, Carissa, Christie, Michelle and Jessica, Doug, Kerryn, Simon, Matt, Greg, Margaret, Kerry??? 20 years on now! 😎

"Mum can you tell me what you were doing this time 15 years ago?" he asks as he looks at me with shining bright inquisitive eyes.
He knows the answer to a story I have told him many times but find hard to tell and share. He asks "does it get easier as time passes?". I think it does I say but it really doesn't as I loose my breath as he smiles.
It's just one story, the first one that resurfaces every Feb 7th and yet every one after that is amazing! The two things are separate but intertwined.
Coop my precious guy you mean the world to me and have changed our world always for the better teaching us to slow down, enjoy the moment and hold eachother close and most importantly to always believe that amazing things can come from the hardest of times x
