Camp for a Cure 💛

What a weekend… filled with good people, good music, and an even better cause.

We got to catch up with old travel mates, share a few laughs, and soak up some amazing live music 🎶 But the part that really sticks with you… hearing real stories from people who have been through cancer. It puts everything into perspective pretty quickly.

So grateful to be part of something that’s raising money, awareness, and support for those who need it most.

Events like this remind you what really matters 🤍

This place isn’t just beautiful to us… it’s where we’ve made some of our favourite family memories.
Swimming with turtles, spotting dolphins, seeing the magic of the reef.

But right now, it’s a different story.

Birds are coming in with broken wings.
Dolphins have been lost.
Hundreds of sea snakes have died.
And countless fish and marine life are gone.

We feel so helpless being all the way in Queensland… but there are people on the ground doing everything they can to help.

They are working tirelessly right now to rescue and care for as many animals as possible.

Merry Christmas from our fam to yours 🤍
This year has been a huge one. Full of learning, challenges and big changes. We went from living full-time in our van to figuring out how to live in the “real world” again… and wow, what a ride it’s been.

It’s been messy, beautiful, exhausting and eye-opening, with plenty of highs and lows along the way. We definitely miss the simplicity of our old life, but we know it’s all part of the journey, and we’re holding onto the hope that we’ll be back out there very soon 🌏🚐

Happy Birthday to my beautiful bestie, Courtney 🤍✨

Our friendship started right in the heart of Australia, surrounded by red dirt, big skies and that wild travel life, and somehow it turned into something deeper than either of us expected. We’ve crossed paths in the most random places around the country, shared campsites, memories, kids’ chaos and plenty of laughs.

When Aaron broke his ankle, you and the fam dropped everything and travelled hours just to help us… and then you ended up in a moon boot with him 😆 That moment pretty much sums us up 🤣 messy, chaotic, loyal, and always showing up for each other.

We’ve been through highs, lows, the in-betweens, and every season has made our friendship stronger. Now we’re lucky enough to live close and spend almost every second weekend together, watching our kids grow up like family.

Thank you for being the kind of friend who brings warmth, honesty and light into every space you walk into. Life is better, funnier, and a whole lot fuller with you in it.

Riding the wave 🌊

Lately, I’ve felt like I’m riding a wave I can’t quite control.

Some days, the water is calm and I can see the shore clearly. Other days, the current pulls me under, and I’m left wondering if I’m even swimming in the right direction.

It’s a strange mix. Feeling grateful for where I am, yet questioning if it’s where I’m meant to be. Wondering if the path I’m on will lead to the life I’ve always imagined, or if I’m just drifting, waiting for a sign.

Life doesn’t always give you a map. Sometimes all you can do is keep paddling, trust the tide, and believe that even if you can’t see it yet… you’re heading somewhere you’re meant to be.

Quandong Point, just out of Broome… what a spot. 🤯

Aqua water, red sand, and from the drone it looked next level, like someone had gone wild with the paintbrush.

The best part? Its FREE. But also, on low tide meant we could fill our tackle box with sinkers, lures, and hooks from all the rookie fisherman 😂🙌

No crowds, no rush, just us, the sound of the waves, and a cold in hand. Could’ve stayed forever.

If you ever find yourself up this way, make the detour, take the dirt road, and let this place remind you what untouched beauty looks like.

📍From the road to reality…

For 4 years, the road was home. No alarms. No fences. Just open skies, salty air, dusty tracks and endless freedom.

Now we’re still… and some days, it’s beautiful. Other days… it’s heavy. Like the world shrunk a little.

I miss the freedom.
The smell of new places.
The way strangers became friends.
The feeling of waking up with nothing but time, fresh air, and the open road ahead.

I miss her 🤎 the version of me who felt wild and free and untamed.

It’s not that I’m not grateful — I truly am.
But the road changed me.
It taught me to breathe deeper, live slower, and appreciate the now.

And now that I’m back… I feel a little lost.
Like the world’s gotten smaller while my heart still craves something wild. I ride this wave with ease. Other days it hits like a tonne of bricks.

So I’m just here, riding the rollercoaster between reality and freedom.!I’m learning… just because the wheels have stopped spinning, doesn’t mean the journey’s over. Maybe this part — the pause — is just another kind of adventure.
