🌟 Emirates A380 First Class was an absolute dream. 🌟

I flew the short hop from Sydney to Christchurch purely to see what the hype was all about, and trust me, I did not leave disappointed

From the moment I stepped into my private suite, I felt like I had entered another world.

I made sure I didn’t leave a single stone unturned. I tried as much of the menu as I could. My favorite was the iconic caviar service. Dom Pérignon was flowing, and I definitely enjoyed a glass while sampling their top shelf spirits like Hennessy Paradis.

The shower spa was a highlight for me. Ten minutes of hot water at forty thousand feet with warm towels and a full set of VOYA products… it is such a surreal experience. I walked out feeling like a new person before landing.

I also got a beautiful Bvlgari amenity kit, pyjamas, slippers, an Emirates tote bag and even a little selection of fine chocolates waiting for me in my suite.

And of course, I spent some time at the onboard bar in the business cabin. It is such a fun space to stretch my legs, have a cocktail and chat to the crew.

For a short flight, I squeezed in everything I possibly could. Emirates A380 First Class really is luxury on a different level!!

I’ll never get over this photo — or the story behind it. 🗻 Walk with me through this one....

Day 10 of our trek. Ten days without a shower. Baby wipes and toothpaste frozen solid and the air is thin, like breathing through a straw.

After reaching Everest base camp, we were given the option to summit Kala Patthar the next morning. The catch? We had to be up and back before breakfast. Challenge accepted.

So, in the pitch-black freezing wee hours of the morning, a small group of “crazy” trekkers, myself included, set off. By the time we reached the top, only two of us had made it, the rest turned back. It was -26°C, and every extra second risked freezing, the little bits of snot (adorable) had iced up on my upper lip. The wind made my eyes water, the tears froze on my lashes before they could fall. You don’t know cold until you’ve felt that, it really is something else.

On the way down, in the midst of finding my feet and not slipping, I looked up, and there she was. The stunning view of the sun coming up behind Mount Everest and it absolutely took my breath away. Light spilled over her neighbouring peaks and I knew I had one chance to capture it. My hands were so frozen I couldn’t even navigate my phone (also triple layered), so I used the double-click quick access to open the camera and pressed the shutter with the tip of my nose. One photo, that's it, that's all the battery I had left. Then my phone shut.. From the cold or maybe on the last legs of 1%. I honestly wasn't even sure if it captured in time or not.

Five days later, once I made it back to Kathmandu and into civilization I finally charged my phone, I found this beauty waiting for me. And my heart still sings every time I see it, for me this memory is ingrained in my mind forever 😍 a moment I can truly say, took my breathe completely away
