To keep things rolling on for 2025 we would like to introduce INTERPSLYCE to the ESF family. He has been working hard on his debut album PAIN/PERSISTANCE/PRIDE coming out in a few weeks so stay tuned for some previews and a release date.

Perth based Dj who started out in the DnB scene in 2001, honing his skills on vinyl and quickly picking up some valuable lessons from local established artist along the way.

18 years later Mayz aka Ray is now a regular in the Perth Bush Doof scene. Mainly focusing on Minimal Tech and Psy Prog these days.

In the short 2 years of being booked for doofs MayZ has quickly made a big impact on Perths local doof community with Psy Prog, Chunky Aggressive Minimal and Progressive Minimal.

Gracing the stage on a regular basis now and has played alongside some local/interstate and international headliners including the likes of Ed Solo, Grouch, The Freestylers, Beats Antique, Smoke Sign, Purple Hayes, Like Liquid, Mr Bill, Silicon Slave, Grouch, Dreadean, Fraktal Nature, Metaflux, Father Funk, Morgazmk, Fraktal Faerie, Smilk, Geomevtrixx, Reactant, Bear, Kinimal, Dank Stank, Ajita, Arbee, Farfetched, Shie'ox, Schrodinga's Funk, Lunar, Sensient, Logman n Pstump and more.

We would like to introduce you to a new artist for ESF Records.... Joel Ciclone from Brazil...

Kelvyn Rocha, Brazilian born, is the driving force behind the Joel Ciclone project.

Electronic music enthusiast who found his passion in trance in 2014 and found his musical groove in 2016 and has been playing at various parties ever since. He embraced the Psytrance scene as Joel Ciclone in 2019, and his beats have been a hit at festivals and clubs.
Joel Ciclone emerged from the passion of a music enthusiast seeking to make music his primary form of expression. This project draws inspiration from both trance and techno, resulting in a distinctive style of Progressive Trance characterized by the extensive use of arpeggios, melodic synths, leads, and powerful kick and basslines.

What sets Joel Ciclone apart is the infusion of pop culture elements, incorporating nostalgic references from diverse musical genres (rock, jazz, reggae) and various forms of entertainment such as movies, series, animations, among others.

In live performances, Joel Ciclone is committed to constant innovation in mixing, skillfully blending different styles and occasionally exploring subgenres of Trance and Techno. The goal is always to craft a unique and captivating atmosphere on the dancefloor, ensuring that each experience is a journey through the diverse and dynamic realms of electronic music.
Gig Highlights: In Brazil, Joel Ciclone was one of the main attractions at Teratai Festival 2023, Dhome Vision Festival 2023, Fire Festival in 2021 and 2022 and resident DJ at DZ9 Session Club between 2021 and 2023. In 2024, his first gig in Australia was at the Spring Equinox Festival, where he performed his first full set of original tracks. Musical Releases: As Joel Ciclone, he released his first album "Pulse" in 2023 with seven original tracks, available on the main platforms. Furthermore he had already released 4 remixes on SoundCloud and full DJ sets on SoundCloud (7 sets) and YouTube (2 set).
