DEPARTING UTECH @ 6:00 AM.

EVENT DURATION: 6:00AM to 6:00PM

EVENT COST: $8,500.00

HIKE DURATION: 9:00AM to 12:30PM (3.5 hours)

DESCRIPTION: This event was designed as a blend between nature and heritage.

We will begin with a 5 miles (8 km) hike acrosxs the Santa Cruz Mountain from Mountainside District to Malvern.
The Southern view along the trail is spectacular because it overlooks the Black River Morass and South St. Elizabeth coastline.
The trail has a nice bit of heritage, but it doesn't stop there; as after lunch we will be checking out some old churches, , Munro College and Hampton School for Girls and Lover's Leap.
N.B. Our purpose at Lover's Leap will be to see the terrain, lighthouse and an old church. We will NOT be going down the slopes to the shoreline.

RATED: 4 (moderately difficult) fitness and endurance required.
Cool windy conditions over rugged route , slippery and uneven ground and farmlands.

LUNCH MENU (after hike meal)
1. Fried Chicken
2. Brown Stewed Chicken
3 .Brown Stewed Fish (fresh water)
4. Ital Stew or Steamed vegetables

*** One meal choice served with either rice and peas or ground provisions***
Steamed vegetables and toss salad FruitJuice.

The mist rolls in and blankets the Blue Mountain with moisture and there is a drop in temperature.
This drop in temperature, actually cools the coffee trees; resulting in a slower ripen of the berries and the famously great taste of Jamaica's Blue Mountain Coffee.
