Today I had the privilege of getting a sneak peek inside Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport before it opens to the public.

It’s not every day you get to walk through a brand-new international airport before the first passengers arrive.

As a Sydneysider and travel professional, it was pretty exciting to see this project up close and get a glimpse of what will soon become a major new gateway to the world.

The countdown is on, and I have a feeling plenty of adventures will begin here.

So, tell me… where would your first flight from WSI be? ✈️🌏

King’s Birthday long weekend nearly over?

I don’t know about you, but long weekends have a habit of sending me down travel rabbit holes.

One minute I’m enjoying a day off.

The next I’m halfway around the world in my mind planning imaginary holidays.

Lately, that destination has been Palau.

The sort of place that makes you pause and imagine swapping emails, alarms and deadlines for turquoise water, island scenery and a much slower pace of life.

Maybe it’s just the long weekend talking.

But I suspect I won’t be the only one daydreaming about travel today.

So tell me…

If work, money and annual leave weren’t a factor, where would you go tomorrow? 🌴✈️

“Never trust travel agents.”

I’ve seen comments like this everywhere lately.

The irony?

AVG wasn’t a travel agent.

It was a tour company.

And I think a lot of people are learning the wrong lesson from what’s happened.

One of my favourite things about working in travel is discovering places that make me stop and think:

"How have I never seriously looked at this before?"

Palau is one of those places.

The more I learn about it, the more I'm scratching my head wondering why it isn't talked about more often in Australia.

What surprised me most is that it's now easier to get to than many people realise, with direct flights from Brisbane.

I'll be honest.

A year ago, Palau wasn't really on my radar.

Now? It's firmly on my bucket list.

So I'm curious...

Had you heard of Palau before today?

And if you have been, what's the one thing about Palau that photos simply don't do justice?

Big one 🌈

I’m proud to be working with Planetdwellers to offer my clients access to highly sought after availability on Gaydream Island, and this is going to be something special.

A full LGBTQIA+ island experience… tropical setting, music, energy, connection, and just being surrounded by your people.

This is exactly the kind of travel I love being part of.
Experiences where you can just show up as yourself and feel completely comfortable doing it.

As a travel agent who works closely with the LGBTQIA+ community (and offers Auslan support where needed), this one hits different for me.

⚠️ It’s coming up soon and spaces are very limited

👉 If you want to go, come through me
I’ll handle the details, you just show up and enjoy it.

Message me and I’ll run you through it.

Let’s make this one unforgettable 🌴🌈

🚨 Last day to vote! 🚨

Voting closes tonight for the Local Business Awards 🏆

For the past 2 years I’ve been incredibly proud to be named a Finalist, something I never take for granted. To even be in this position again means a lot.

This business has been built from the ground up through passion, resilience, and the support of an amazing community around me. Every booking, every message, every referral… it all means more than you probably realise.

If I’ve ever helped you plan a trip, inspired your travels, or you simply believe in what I do, this is your last chance to support me this year ❤️

Sometimes this job really does have its moments ✨

Very grateful to be invited along to opening weekend of The Lion King at the Capitol Theatre tonight with the lovely Lisa Thomas 🦁

Nights like this remind me why I love this industry. Experiences, connections, and a little bit of magic along the way.

Until they do.

Shared some honest thoughts on this here 👇

I’ve been thinking about this a bit lately. Not whether travel agents are “worth it”, but why we’re one of the only professions expected to prove it upfront. I don’t really try to convince people anymore. Because the clients who value what I do just get it. They’re not coming to me to cl...
