2024, what a year to remember!! We were busier than ever! We helped create wonderful travel memories for numerous existing clients, and were grateful for the generous reviews given in the form of new clients passed on to us along the way. Happy Birthday to the Big Fella! Working from the office today, unusually not on some epic adventure gaining all the best travel tips, as he is at this time almost every year. We actually had the opportunity to review a Euro cruise this fortnight, but family duties called and it didn’t quite fit with the ballet calendar 😂 Rest assured, after years of working cruise contracts, there’s barely a European destination he hasn’t visited multiple times. So instead today was spent soaking up some local delights including for lunch! Next year will be the big 4 O… and it’s going to be worth waiting for 🌎

Last night we attended the wedding of two of our beautiful friends and clients Carrie Wright and Matt Wright. It was honestly the best wedding we’ve attended. Stunning scenery at a fabulous location longviewfarmweddings ⛰️, amazing food, brilliant speeches, organised and decorated to perfection 🌻, and best of all, a room full of love. It was so great to see a young couple so genuinely loved and supported. We wish them the very best 💞
This week they will be on their way to the fabulous daydreamislandresort - a place we haven’t personally visited in ten years but after a refurbishment seems even more exquisite now as it was then. We can’t wait to hear all about it when they return!

Overall - our final opinion and review, particularly as Australians travelling such a long distance and from a giant country of our own, we would have to say for the Disney experience, Anaheim is more than enough - and much more easily accessible! Shorter flight time, and walking distance from fabulous resorts, compared to a lot of travel time in between resorts and parks in Disney World. Highlights of LA are in your doorstep so adding to this experience is easy!
However if you are looking for something other than just Disney Magic, Disney World is a must with the added Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, ESPN headquarters, and multiple water parks that we didn’t attend (let’s be honest, as Australians we already experience a lot of water fun). But be aware that you will need a week to 10 days AT LEAST to feel like you have properly enjoyed them all, after the multiple flights to get here.

On we go now to Miami!! And the wonderful (hopefully more relaxing) world that is cruise ship life for a week! Stay tuned!!

Lastly ANIMAL KINGDOM - amazing. Animal viewing and interactions in massive, and as humane as animal enclosures can possibly be. Animal knowledge was extensive and very important for children to experience. Rides and attractions were few but exciting, and necessary given that wasn’t the main focus of this park.
We were exhausted so ended this day early but on a high with lunch in a jungle themed restaurant, elephants poking out from shrubs and monkeys swinging through vines from the ceilings! The trainees thought it was fabulous! 👏

EPCOT - our biggest surprise and this years favourite for all. Here you will find the ‘innovative’ world of Disney and their vision for our future. We took journeys through the past and created our own future outlook. We experienced their vision for ecological and scientific advancement and travelled through “lands” dedicated to different countries all over the world. Highlights were “Soarin around the world” , “Living with the land”, “Test Track” (where you get to design and race your own Chevrolet, epic according to the trainees) and the Frozen and Nemo themed rides. The Moana attraction and “water dancing” was incredible, and our authentic Japanese lunch at “Shiki-Sai” was the best meal we had in four days - well worth the price! Epcot you were exquisite and exceeded our expectations ❤️
