New York 🗽

Well we thought we were cold in London 😳
New York at Christmas is a whole new level of cold 🥶. Nevertheless we donned the coats again and walked (well sometimes bused 🚌) ourselves warm. From Central Park, to City Hall, to the top of the Empire State. From The Rockefeller Tree to The Met, we strolled the upper east side and relived Gossip Girl, S*x and the City and Friends. Brooklyn Bridge to Battery Park to see lady Liberty herself. New York Times to Planet Hollywood and Madison Ave to The Plaza. We saw where Columbus stands, and where the Ball Drops. From the fun world of colourful characters at the M&M store, to the immensely humbling experience that is Ground Zero - the September 11 Memorial.
We were based in Times Square, so it was easy to find entertainment on every corner. Broadway Shows, the Radio City Rockettes, multiple shopping venues, street buskers and we even popped down to the interactive screen to say hi to some pals back home in Aus! What a world we live in 🌏
Finding a meal was never an issue - favourites included Carmine’s Italian, Square Pizza and of course Applebees 🍎
And we got some snow! ❄️ Only a light flurry but a few white flakes were enough please the trainees.

New York City is an absolute blast, if you love a bit of history, arts, shopping and hustle and bustle.

The love affair with London continues.. ❤️
We often have ‘White Christmas’ travel enquiries, and while we have previously lived and travelled a lot in the Uk, we hadn’t until now had the London Christmas experience. Now, we are happy to advise that it’s absolutely all that you dream it to be, for both adults and kids, and the weather is definitely tolerable for us Aussies - as with everywhere in the UK, most venues are warmer inside than Australia in winter. Yes, there will be some walking outside to see all the spectacular sights, we certainly covered some ground in four days, but it’s absolutely worth rugging up for ❄️
Here are some of the wonderful winter experiences we had this Christmas - from the famous sights and multiple Christmas markets, to Royal Ballet and incredible light displays ✨🎄

Just over a month ago, we set off on our only travel journey of 2025 and our first for 2026. Being travel managers, to not have explored the world for an entire year was almost suffocating 😆, but as always for us family and business duties come first, and it’s been a very busy year in both of those areas - such is life! Having such a long break from travelling, we knew we had to make it a big one, to touch up on as much knowledge as possible over the space of 6 weeks while the trainees were off school - what a life they live! ✈️🛳️🚍🗺️

First stop Singapore! 🇸🇬 - we have a constant flow of clients wanting to use Singapore as a stop over as part of a longer itinerary so we wanted to experience it as a 3 day stopover ourselves in order to give the best advice.
Flew - Singapore Air 👌🏽
Stayed - Village Hotel Sentosa
Visited - Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island, Gardens by the Bay, VivoCity, Art Science Museum, Cloud Forest, and The Southernmost Point of Continental Asia.

Happy Birthday to the Big Fella! Working from the office today, unusually not on some epic adventure gaining all the best travel tips, as he is at this time almost every year. We actually had the opportunity to review a Euro cruise this fortnight, but family duties called and it didn’t quite fit with the ballet calendar 😂 Rest assured, after years of working cruise contracts, there’s barely a European destination he hasn’t visited multiple times. So instead today was spent soaking up some local delights including for lunch! Next year will be the big 4 O… and it’s going to be worth waiting for 🌎
