Great day out in perfect weather. What a cracker of a day! 15 riders headed out for a short ride (100kms) with heaps of natural wonders to look at. With the clear day you felt like you could see forever. Finished up with lunch at Kew Pub and everyone made their own way home. Great to see some old friends and some new faces. Spirit of adventure award goes to Malcolm who came along on his old, naked, Kwaka road bike with dirt tyres fitted. All smiles and positive attitude. Till next time, cheers 🥃Dunno

SIGHT SEEING TOUR 26/7/26
Edit #2: The completed route looks like 4.5 hrs of riding plus stops. The Crowdy Bay has been removed. Lunch may be late so bring snacks. 👍😁
Picture is a very rough guide.
When:
Departing Cundletown shops, Else St Cundletown, Sunday July 26.
Full tanks and side stands up at 9:05am.
Where:
We will weave our way around the local area taking in some popular lookouts, maybe a waterfall and a cave or two. There will likely be a coffee stop somewhere and if all goes well the final stop will be at the Coopernook Pub for lunch.
What:
This should be a relaxed ride with short rides between plenty of stops to take in the natural wonders of our local area. There may be some back tracking due to road closures but the day will be relaxed and if there is a need to alter out plans then so be it. (If the weather turns to crap we will reorganise as who wants
to go to a lookout and see nothing?)
Why:
This was the most popular ride we have done but we haven’t done it for a year or three so if the rain buggers off the views shall be awesome.
Disclaimer:
This is not a professionally run ride. I’m going for a ride and you are welcome to follow me if you so wish. As such you do so at your own risk and are responsible for where and how you ride, your bike maintenance, insurance etc.

This ride will certainly live up to our moto:
Life’s an Adventure, Not a Race.

IF YOU ARE COMING ALONG PLEASE LET US KNOW PRIOR AND CONSIDER JOINING OUR WHATSAPP GROUP FOR ANY UPDATES.

The numbers might be out a bit but you get the idea and I know I’m not alone. 😁

June Long Weekend - Big Day Out.
Sunday June 7 (weather depending)
Meet at Sunrise shops, Else St Cundletown. (Come early for a coffee)
Departing 9am, full tank, empty bladder.
Approx 6-7hrs riding and 270-300km

Route:
Lansdowne to highway, then through Possum Brush to Nabiac. Wind our way to Gloucester. There will be a stop somewhere along the way to Gloucester for a snack etc. At Gloucester we will eat and refuel. Then it’s on to Bakers Creek, Belbora, Charity Creek, Bootawa and finally Old Bar Tavern for a cold one with the option of staying on for dinner.

All riders of all experience levels are welcome. This ride would suit bikes of any size.

This will be a moderately paced ride so if you’re a racer perhaps it’s not for you??
We are happy to help and wait for less experienced riders.

This is not a professionally organised ride, as such you ride at your own risk. You are also responsible for where you ride, the pace you ride, your bike’s maintenance, insurance etc.

Please message if you intend on joining us so we can keep an eye out for you and know how many people to expect.

Remember: Life’s an adventure not a race.

And then there is having your bike do this with your leg still attached. What a day at the office that turned out to be!...
