The Goose and The Gander Farm

The Goose and The Gander Farm We've recently sold our beautiful Corang River B & B and are moving on to new adventures near Mudgee! NOTE: there is a kitchen with a sink, but no stove / oven.

Corang River B &B Farmstay is situated in beautiful Corang NSW, between Nerriga and Braidwood. Experience the great outdoors and leave your worries behind! With four full sized bedrooms, 3 queen beds and one with 2 singles, the house sleeps up to 8 guests, and is perfect for families and friends wanting a break from reality and with the need to just get away from it all. You can feel the tension e

ase as you approach the house and realise just how nestled away we really are. Set high on the hill on our 285 acre native bush property, you are blessed with magnificent views right across to the Budawang Ranges. Enjoy a glass of wine on the front deck and just feel your worries slip away as you soak up the quiet and the darkness, no street lights or passing traffic here, and gaze at the stars. Embrace the lack of technology, limited WiFi and no cable TV here, just enjoy your surroundings and each others company. A perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends for that catch up you're always talking about. There is a landline in the B & B should you need to make a call for any reason. There is an open plan lounge and dining with views over the property and access to the verandah. The dining area has full tea and coffee making facilities as well as fridge, microwave, toaster and all crockery, some large serving bowls as well as condiments. There is a fabulous wood fire in the lounge room (wood supplied) to keep you warm and cosy in the colder months. Electric blankets are all on all beds in the colder months as well. There is a new 6 burner gas (supplied) BBQ for guests to enjoy at their leisure. We implore guests to please make themselves comfortable and enjoy their time here. There are two bathrooms with shower, toilet, hand basin and vanity. Enjoy a hot shower after a day of exploring and wash your worries away. You will find a compendium in the B & B with local information including day trip suggestions and bush walking tracks etc. We are located app 3.5 kms from Dungowan Estate. We are also only a 5 minute drive from Moss Institute of Motocross and Supercross. We are located 10 mins from Nerriga Hotel. We are 42 kms from Braidwood (closest town for fuel and essentials, also great for boutique shopping!)

There is plenty to do during your stay, or you may choose to just relax and do as little as possible. Go for a walk and explore the riverbank—take a dip in warmer months
Have a picnic by the river or anywhere on the property - we can arrange supplies for you and even set up—contact us to discuss. Explore the property and its natural beauty

Please do not hesitate to contact us upon booking if you have any special requests that we may be able to accommodate, such as arranging a supply of local produce (meat, veg etc) for your arrival, dinner options, restaurant bookings etc. NOTE: the owners reside on the property and the main house is connected (but separate entrances and private) to the B & B. There are dogs (one is securely fenced in, the two smaller dogs can sometimes be found wandering outside and are very friendly) and there are also sheep, a cow and chooks on the property.
