✨ Exploring Delhi ✨

What an incredible city—alive with colour, history, and energy at every corner. From the bustling spice markets to the serenity of ancient monuments, Delhi is a feast for the senses.

And at the end of the day, retreating into the super-luxury Leela Palace New Delhi feels like a dream. Marble halls, exquisite dining, and service that makes you feel like royalty—it’s the perfect balance to the vibrant pace of the city.

The excitement was palpable as we finally entered the gates to Serengeti National Park. We had no idea what was in store for us. Ostriches lined up as a welcoming committee, lions and their gorgeous cubs, a mumma cheetah and her babies, a thunder storm (yes the rains came down in Africa!), lunch under an acacia tree and so much more.

Whilst continuing our journey to the Serengeti we stopped to visit the Maasai whom warmly welcomed us to their village and into their (tiny) homes.

Day 2 and we are off to Tarangire National Park. We really feel like we are in Safari now. Mongoose, giraffes, elephants, zebras and plenty of beautiful birds.

11 fabulous ladies have travelled to Arusha, Tanzania. The first day involved a walking safari with local rangers. A lovely cool day learning about wildlife and visiting a waterfall. Excitement levels were high seeing the first giraffe and zebras.

Finishing our Greek Adventure on a high in beautiful Santorini. Cruising, Sunsets, blue domed churches, gorgeous little white Greek villages and world class dining with spectacular views of the caldera and volcano island. Sad to say good bye but leaving with many memories and hundreds of photos as a reminder of our journey.

Fabulous afternoon in authentic Galaxidi town, cooking yummy spanakopita pies at Ganimede Hotel Galaxidi and enjoying a feast of our creations.
A stroll through this quiet seaside town was also a lovely treat while our pies were in the oven. Greek hospitality in a small Greek village.

Must see this area with your own eyes to truly appreciate its beauty. Our tour has been lucky to visit this majestic area of Greece;
Meteora – a UNESCO World Heritage listed place meaning “suspended in the air,” eroded rocks which monks have built their monasteries on. High above the Meteora landscape in the central region of Greece, 60 monks and nuns live in fabled monasteries perched on the edge of sandstone peaks. It was once a place of refuge for hundreds of Orthodox monks and nuns who resided in separate monasteries.

First we visited The Holy Monastery of St. Stephen which is among the best monasteries in Meteora & is now inhabited by nuns and non monks. Then we climbed over 130 steps to famous Varlaam Monastery, which is a an active religious site, offering a glimpse into the spiritual traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church. The Varlaam Monastery's location on the precipice of a massive rock pillar, provides unparalleled views of the surrounding landscape.
