🌿✨ Wandering Through Echo Point ✨🌿

From the misty waterfalls hidden among the ferns to the golden leaves glowing against a crisp blue sky, every step here feels like you’re walking through a living storybook.

Long before Echo Point became the famous lookout it is today, Katoomba was known for its rich seams of coal and shale. In the late 1800s, miners carved tracks through the cliffs, unknowingly laying the foundations for the walking trails we enjoy now. By the early 1900s, grand hotels and guesthouses were springing up to welcome visitors escaping Sydney for mountain air and sweeping views.

The Queen Elizabeth Lookout marks a moment in 1954 when Her Majesty herself paused here to take in the Jamison Valley—an occasion that locals still talk about with pride.

🌿✨ Spotted at Scenic World ✨🌿

These striking red blooms are Grevillea flowers—native Australian beauties that light up the bush like tiny fireworks. Their fuzzy petals and vivid colour were such a gorgeous contrast to the soft mountain mist all around.

One of the many reasons we love to slow down, wander the boardwalk, and take in the details you can only find in the Blue Mountains. 🌸🌿
