These ladies from Victoria flew into Busselton and are starting their trip in Nannup.

I'm proud to have successfully advocated for & secured a significant increase in support - $450,000 to $2.45 million - for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships.

This is a huge win for our region, & I’m incredibly proud to have strongly advocated for this funding.

Securing this world-class event in Nannup will not only attract elite cyclists from around the globe but also bring thousands of visitors, delivering a major economic boost to local businesses & showcasing our stunning SW region.

The 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships will be delivered by Cycling Eventures, a local events company that has been instrumental in growing the cycling scene in the SW.

Their involvement in projects such as the Blackwood Bike Park, the SEVEN Gravel Race, & the tourofmargaretriver6285 Pro AM highlights their commitment to fostering cycling tourism & regional development.

BIBBULMUN TRACK CLOSED SOUTHBOUND FROM PEMBERTON TO NORTHCLIFFE AND DEESIDE COAST ROAD (DOG POOL CAMPSITE)

DPAW Manjimup have closed the Bibbulmun Track from Pemberton southwards to the end of our Shire but strongly suggest that walkers don't walk between Deeside Coast Road and Walpole due to high flood water levels. Therefore please avoid walking the track between Pemberton to Walpole until further notice.

DPAW Manjimup strongly suggest that walkers don't walk between Deeside Coast Road and Walpole either. Therefore it is advised to avoid walking the Bibb Track between Northcliffe and Walpole due to flood risk.

BIBBULMUN TRACK UPDATE 19.08.2024

SOUTHBOUND FROM NORTHCLIFFE TO DEESIDE CLOSED BY DPAW
Walkers have reported extrmemely deep, unpassable water as of 10km south of Northcliffe, heading towards Gardner Campsite. Gardner Campsite and Maringup Campsite are underwater. DPAW have rung us just now and advised southbound will be closed until further notice as there is more rain expected this Thursday/Friday, so it's a watch and wait.

NORTHBOUND FROM NORTHCLIFFE
Walkers have reported fast moving water, up to hip level, flowing over the track between Warren and Northcliffe, getting worse between Schafers Hut and Northcliffe. We have reported this to DPAW, they will investigate and advise us if they decide to close this section too.

The past couple of months have seen us engage in the hectic but rewarding task of overseeing Munda Biddi adventurers and Bibbulmun trekkers, with a notable presence of travelers from the east and beyond, some of whom have elected to fly into Busselton via the newly operational Sydney-Busselton flight path.

Reminder
We are fully insured and licenced with Department of Transport. Our bus gets checked annually for passeger safety to make sure its complient. Our drivers get checked by health professionals.
To take Fare Paying Passengers the Driver PTD, Vehicle PTV & Business ODBS must be Registered with the Dept of Transport.
Without that compliance, fee paying passengers are not covered by any Insurance.

There are people posting, offering transfers without these.
