With more than 400 Safety Steel sheds sold across Ballarat and surrounding districts, Rodney Broadbent from Ballarat Shed Centre has built a reputation for delivering reliable service and practical solutions for regional Victorian customers.

Having first worked with Safety Steel Sheds in the 1990s, Rodney's confidence in the product began with a shed he built himself – one that remains standing strong today. Since returning to the industry in 2018, he has continued to help farmers, businesses and property owners find the right shedding solution for their needs.

Outside of the business, Rodney is a passionate supporter of his local community, serving as President of the Ballarat Central Business Group and playing with the Beaufort Brass Band. We completed a new 360m² maintenance storage facility for Maranatha Christian College, providing a secure, weather-protected space for the storage of equipment and materials used across the campus.

Measuring 30m long, 12m wide and 6m high, the facility was designed to improve storage capacity, accessibility and operational efficiency while protecting valuable assets from the elements.

Working within an active school environment required careful planning and coordination to ensure the project was completed safely and with minimal disruption to students, staff and daily operations.
