Yesterday was a day of rescues. After a report was made and no action was forth coming a call came through to WRT it was seen on a highway and was reported being very friendly. This little one lost its mum back in May last year and we could never find it. Now it needed help the battle scares tells a tale of how hard it had been to try and survive. For the first time there was no container to confine this little one with only a couple of kilometres to a Carers home she was placed on the back seat. I wonder what was going through her mind as she looked out the window.
Treated. Supplied with food and water and fresh hay for a bed in a tunnel. All good.

I'm tired of seeing country degraded by rubbish.😑

It seems that:

When it's a National Park, it's cared for! 🌲

When it a site of cultural importance, it's cared for! 🌄

When it's land that has been 'given back', it's cared for! 🫂

But....What about country that is none of these? What then? Who cares for this? 😔

It is still the ancestral home to tens of thousands of people over many millennia

It is still the home today of animals, plants and insects 🐛 🐦 🌿

It is still a place that draws people 👣

It is still country and it is still worth caring for! 🖤❤️💛

Almost 20 kg of rubbish removed! 👍😎
