The people of Wadandi Boodja (Saltwater People’s Country) are the Traditional Custodians of our region and follow an ancestral six-season calendar that guides living in harmony with the land and environment.

These seasonal changes aren’t marked by dates on a calendar, but by what’s happening in nature - from native plants flowering, to reptiles hibernating, and the fertility cycles of plants and animals.
