June thus far 🙌

After a challenging May with very few opportunities to get offshore, June has delivered some much-needed weather windows and we’ve been back doing what we love to do.

The fishing has been solid with quality snapper, pearl perch and mixed reef species hitting the deck, while the humpback whales have well and truly arrived on their annual migration north 🐋

A big thank you to everyone who has jumped onboard over the past few weeks. It’s been great to see familiar faces back out on the water and plenty of new ones too.

Winter is often one of our favourite times of the year offshore, with more stable weather patterns, great fishing and now the added bonus of whale watching along our coastline.

If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, now’s a great time to lock something in.

Not much to report this May thanks to the non-stop weather, so here’s a throwback to some better May days from previous years 🌊🎣

This month has definitely tested us with only 2 offshore trips getting away so far, but the good news is it finally looks like things are starting to settle again later this week 🙌

We’ve got spots available for fishing this Saturday and Sunday is currently wide open.

Reports of whales starting to be spotted around the area are also beginning to come through 🐋

Whether you’ve been hanging to get back offshore for a feed of quality fish or in hopes see the first whales of the season, now’s the time to lock something in as we head into what’s usually some of the better winter weather patterns 👌

We’ve been a bit quiet on here, but not offshore 🎣🌊

Between the rough March/April weather, we’ve been picking our windows and finding plenty of action out on the wide grounds. Quality fish, smiling crews and some cracking mixed bags hitting the deck lately.

If you’ve been thinking about getting out there, now’s the time to book a trip as seasons are changing and we should start having more offshore wind mornings coming into winter 👌
