Dr. Wayne Dyer এর লেখা 'Your Sacred Self' বইটা পড়তে গিয়ে একটি জায়গায় থমকে গেলাম।
বইয়ের একটি কাল্পনিক কথোপকথন পড়ে আমার এত ভালো লাগলো যে, আমি বিস্ময়ে অভিভূত হয়ে গেলাম। পরকালে অবিশ্বাসীদের গালে এমন নীরব চপেটাঘাত, সত্যিই অবাক না হয়ে পারা যায়না।
সংলাপটির বাঙলা অর্থ করলে সেটি মোটামুটি এরকম দাঁড়ায়-
'একটি মাতৃগর্ভে জমজ দুই শিশুর মধ্যে কথা হচ্ছে।তাদের প্রথমজন দ্বিতীয়জনকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো,- 'তুমি কি প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবনে বিশ্বাস করো?'
'
দ্বিতীয়জন বললো,- 'অবশ্যই করি।নিশ্চয় প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবন বলে কিছু আছে।হয়তো প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবনের প্রস্তুতির জন্যই আজ আমরা এখানে।'
'
প্রথমজন বললো,- 'আরে বোকা! প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবন বলে কিছুই নেই।তোমার সেই কাল্পনিক জগত কেমন হতে পারে বলতো দেখি?'
'
দ্বিতীয়জন বললো,- 'আমি ঠিক জানিনা।তবে হতে পারে সেখানে এখানের(মাতৃগর্ভ) তুলনায় আলো অনেক বেশি হবে।হতে পারে সেখানে আমরা আমাদের পা দিয়ে হাঁটতে পারবো।আমাদের মুখ দিয়ে নিজেরাই খাদ্য গ্রহন করতে পারবো।হয়তো সেই জগতে আমাদের অন্যান্য ইন্দ্রিয় থাকবে যা আমরা এখন কল্পনা করতে পারছিনা।'
'
প্রথমজন বললো,- 'এটা নিছক কল্পনা ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।পা দিয়ে হাঁটাহাঁটি? অসম্ভব। মুখ দিয়ে খাদ্য গ্রহন? অলিক কল্পনা। আমাদের শরীরের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় যাবতীয় পুষ্টি আসে এই নাড়ির মাধ্যমে।কিন্ত নাড়ির এই স্বল্প দৈর্ঘ্য কখনোই প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবনের পক্ষে যুক্তি হতে পারেনা।প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবন বলে আদৌ কিছু নেই।এটা বাতুলতা।'
'
দ্বিতীয়জন বললো,- 'আমি মনে করি প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবন বলে কিছু আছে এবং সেটা এই মাতৃগর্ভের জীবনের চেয়ে ভিন্ন।হতে পারে সেখানে বাঁচার জন্যে আমাদের এই নাড়ির দরকার হবেনা।'
'
প্রথমজন উত্তর দিলো,- 'হাধারাম! প্রসব পরবর্তী জীবন বলে যদি কিছু থেকে থাকে,তাহলে সেই জীবন থেকে কখনো কেউ এই জীবনে ফেরত আসেনা কেনো? আসলে প্রসবের পরের জীবন বলতে কিছুই নেই।প্রসব হচ্ছে জীবনের শেষ। এরপর আর কিছু নেই।আছে কেবল অন্ধকার আর শুন্যতা।'
'
'আমি ঠিক জানিনা।'- দ্বিতীয়জন বললো।
সে আরো বললো,- 'হতে পারে সে জগতে আমাদের সাথে আমাদের মায়ের দেখা হবে।মা হয়তো সে জগতে আমাদের দেখাশুনা করবেন।'
'
প্রথমজন হাসতে লাগলো, আর বললো,- ' মা? তুমি 'মা' তে বিশ্বাস করো? এটা সত্যিই হাস্যকর! যদি মা বলে কেউ থেকে থাকে,তাহলে সে এখন কোথায়?'
'
দ্বিতীয়জন বললো,- 'সে আমাদের চারপাশে বিরাজমান।সে আমাদের ঘিরে আছে।আমরা তার মাঝে বেঁচে আছি।তাকে ছাড়া এই জগত অসম্ভব।এই পৃথিবী অসম্ভব।'
'
প্রথমজন বললো,- 'যেহেতু আমরা মা বলে কাউকে দেখিনা,অনুভব করিনা।সুতরাং, এর যুক্তিসম্মত ব্যাখ্যা এই যে, আসলে মা বলে কেউ নেই।'
'
দ্বিতীয়জন মুচকি হেসে বললো,- 'মাঝে মাঝে যখন তুমি নীরব থাকো,তখন মনোযোগ সহকারে যদি খেয়াল করো তাহলে তুমি তার উপস্থিতি টের পাবে।তুমি তার কন্ঠ শুনতে পাবে।বুঝতে পারবে তিনি তার দরদভরা মধুর কন্ঠে উপর থেকে আমাদের ডাকছেন।'
আমার মনে হয় 'মৃত্যু পরবর্তী জীবন' আর 'কনসেপ্ট অফ গড' থিওরিতে কোনপ্রকার ধর্মীয় কিতাবাদির রেফারেন্স ব্যতীত ব্যাখ্যাগুলির মধ্যে Dr. Wayne Dyer এর এই ব্যাখাটিই অল দ্য বেষ্ট....

উহুদের যুদ্ধে রাসূলের (সা) বহু প্রিয় সাথী নিহত হলেন। সত্যের জন্য অকুন্ঠিত চিত্তে তাঁরা প্রাণ দিয়েছেন। সত্যের আহবান তাঁদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করেছে আম্লান বদনে সকল দুঃখ কষ্ট সহ্য করে প্রাণের শিখা অনির্বাণ জ্বালিয়ে রাখতে। মৃত্যু তাঁদের অমর লোকের সঙ্গীত শুনায়। এ সঙ্গীতে সত্যের পরম আনন্দ তাঁরা লাভ করে। শত বিপদ আপদ শত মৃত্যু পার হয়ে তাঁরা লাভ করেন জীবনের পূর্ণতা। উহুদের যুদ্ধ নবীন মুসলিমদের এই সুযোগ দান করেছিল, মৃত্যুকে বরণ করে আমৃতকে তাঁরা লাভ করেছিলেন। সে এক চরম পরীক্ষার দিন। সংবাদ রটে গেল, এই যুদ্ধে রাসূলুল্লাহ (সা) শহীদ হয়েছেন। কিন্তু তাঁকে সেদিন তাঁর প্রিয় আনুচরগণ মানব প্রাচীর তুলে রক্ষা করেছিলেন।

রাসূলের (সা) মিথ্যা মৃতু সংবাদে একজন আনসার মহিলা ছুটে চললো মাঠের দিকে। এক জন লোককে দেখে সে জিজ্ঞেস করলো, “রাসূল কি অবস্থায় আছেন?”

লোকটি জানে রাসূল নিরাপদে আছেন, তাই প্রশ্নের দিকে ভ্রুক্ষেপ না করে সে বলল “তোমার পিতা শহীদ হয়েছেন।” মুহূর্তে বিবর্ণ হয়ে উঠলো তাঁর মুখ। নিজেকে সংযত করে মহিলাটি জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “রাসূল কেমন আছেন, তিনি কি জীবিত?”

“তোমার ভাইও নিহত হয়েছে।”

মহিলা আবার সেই একই প্রশ্ন ব্যাকুল কন্ঠে জিজ্ঞাসা করল। তখন সে আবার বলল, “তোমার স্বামীও শীদ হয়েছেন।”

সকল শক্তি একত্র করে মহিলা তিক্ত স্বরে বলল, “আমার কোন পরমাত্মীয় মারা ফেছে তা আমি জিজ্ঞাস করছিনে, আমাকে শুধু বল আল্লাহর নবী মুহাম্মাদ কেমন আছেন?” লোকটি উত্তর দিলেন,“তিনি নিরাপদেই আছেন।” মুহূর্তে মহিলাটির বিবর্ণ মুখে আনন্দের আভাস দেখা দিল। উল্লাসিত হয়ে সে বললো, “আত্মীয় বন্ধুদের প্রাণ তবে ব্যর্থ হয়নি।”

ব্যর্থ হয় না। কোন দিনই ব্যর্থ হয় না। একটি প্রাণের একটি পবিত্র জীবনের আত্মাহুতি সত্যের আলোক শিখা, সত্যের উদাত্তবাণীকে আরও তীব্রতর আরও জ্যোতির্ময় করে তোলে।

মৃত্যু ভয় যাদের নেই, সাহস ও অটল বিশ্বাস যাদের বুকে, তাদের জয় সুনিশ্চিত। ইসলামের প্রাথমিক যুগে একদল বিশ্বাসী ও নির্ভীক মুসলমান সকল বাধা-বিপত্তি ও মৃত্যু ভয়কে তুচ্ছ করেছিল বলেই ইসলামের প্রতিষ্ঠা সুদৃঢ় হয়েছে। আশার বাণী, শান্তির বাণী প্রচারিত হয়েছে। আটলান্টিক থেকে প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরের বক্ষদেশ পর্যন্ত এর প্রতিষ্ঠার বুনিয়াদ গড়ে উঠেছে শহীদী রক্তের পুণ্য স্রোতধারার উপর। ইসলাম একটি অজেয় শক্তি। অন্যায়, অন্ধকার ও অন্ধ বিশ্বাসের বিরুদ্ধে এক তীব্র প্রতিবাদ।
