The Indian government has just officially announced today (June 25, 2026) that normal tourist visa applications for Bangladeshi citizens are fully resuming on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
The strict limits and agent-driven bottlenecks (like the 50-file rumor or extremely rare slots) that were in place due to the scaled-down operations are being replaced as the system reopens.
Here are the key details of the official announcement by the newly appointed Indian High Commissioner, Dinesh Trivedi:
Effective Date: Applications open this coming Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Available Centers: You can submit tourist visa applications at five main Indian Visa Application Centres (IVAC) across Bangladesh:
Dhaka (Jamuna Future Park)
Chittagong
Rajshahi
Sylhet
Khulna
