একটা ছোট্ট উচ্চারণের ভুল পুরো শব্দের অর্থই বদলে দিতে পারে—সূরা আল-ফাতিহার একটি আয়াতে আমরা পড়ি, “أَنعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ (An'amta 'alayhim)”; এখানে “An'amta” অর্থ—“তুমি অনুগ্রহ করলে।” এই শব্দটিতে আরবির ‘আয়িন’ (ع/'Ayn) অক্ষর আছে, যা গলার মাঝখান থেকে উচ্চারিত হয়। যদি ‘আয়িন’ সঠিকভাবে উচ্চারণ করা হয়, তাহলে অর্থ থাকে “তুমি অনুগ্রহ করিলেন।” কিন্তু যদি ‘আয়িন’ উচ্চারিত না হয় তাহলে শব্দটি হয়ে যায় “Anamta,” তখন তার অর্থ দাঁড়ায়—“তুমি কাউকে ঘুমাইয়ে দিলে।”
একটা অক্ষর বাদ গেলেই পুরো অর্থ পালটে যায়। এজন্য প্রতিটি হরফ, প্রতিটি মখরাজ (উচ্চারণকেন্দ্র) গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
কুরআনটি যেমন নাজিল হয়েছিল তেমনি শিখুন—সঠিক উচ্চারণে, সঠিক তাজবীদসহ।

In Surah al-Fatiha we say “An'amta 'alayhim”; the word “An'amta” means “You bestowed favor.” This word contains the Arabic letter ‘Ayn (ع), pronounced from the middle of the throat. When ‘Ayn is pronounced correctly, the meaning remains “You bestowed favor.”
But if the ‘Ayn is missed and the word becomes “Anamta,” its meaning shifts to “You caused someone to sleep.” A single missing letter changes the entire meaning. That’s why every letter and every Makhraz (point of articulation) matters.
