Our Alumna Shirin Akhter is very sick. Now she is admitted in Evercare in ICU in the state of coma as she has been suffering from dengu. She is working as Manager in Pizza Hut. She is one of our brightest Alumni. May Almighty Allah bless her with quick recovery and makes her to come back to life with a sound health. Seminar on Emerging Opportunities in Aviation and Hospitality

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM), IUBAT, organized a seminar titled “Emerging Opportunities and Professional Trajectories in the Aviation and Hospitality Sectors,” bringing together industry experts to share insights into the evolving landscape of aviation, hospitality, and tourism.
The seminar featured Mr. Kazi Wahid ul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor; Mr. T. Kevin McIntyre, General Manager, Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara; and Mr. Saif Ul Alam Tanzu, Associate Director of Sales, InterContinental Dhaka, who shared valuable perspectives on emerging career opportunities, industry trends, and professional pathways within the sector.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Professor Selina Nargis, Treasurer & Director Administration; and Dr. Mohammad Badruddoza Talukder, Chairman, College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, joined the session alongside faculty members and participants, contributing to an engaging exchange of insights between academia and industry

CTHM Day Long Tour 2026 – A Memorable Experience! 🌿✨

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and IUBAT Tourism and Hospitality Management Society (ITHMS) of IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology successfully organized a wonderful Day Long Tour at Insignia Hotels & Resorts on July 30, 2026.

The tour was filled with learning, fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. It provided students with an excellent opportunity to experience the hospitality industry firsthand while strengthening friendships and creating lasting bonds.

A heartfelt thank you to all the faculty members, Officials, ITHMS Executives, organizers, and participants whose dedication and enthusiasm made this event a great success. Special thanks to the management team of Insignia Hotels & Resorts for their warm hospitality and for giving us an insightful learning experience.

The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology and Le Meridien Dhaka. This MoU has marked an important milestone in strengthening the academic–industry partnership between the IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology along with College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and Le Meridien Dhaka.
On Behalf of IUBAT Honourable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Abdur Rab, Respected Registrar Prof. Dr. Md. Momtazur Rahman, Chair of College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) Dr Mohammad Badruddoza Talukder, Faculty Members and Officials of IUBAT as well as General Manager Mr. Constantinos S. Gavriel, Director of HR Mr Emamul Haque and Management Team of Le Meridien Dhaka were presented in the ceremony.
The colourful Signing Ceremony has been hosted by Le Meridien Dhaka which has created a productive academic breeze between the Hospitality Industry and College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM), IUBAT. We believe and hope that this MoU will bring a better tomorrow.
