The Meeting of Two Waters – Ras El Bar
Ras El Bar is a unique coastal destination in Egypt where the Nile River meets the Mediterranean Sea, creating a rare and breathtaking natural view where fresh water and salt water come together.
This phenomenon is often reflected in the Quran:
📖 Surah Ar-Rahman (55:19–20)
“He released the two seas, meeting side by side; between them is a barrier they do not cross.”
📖 Surah Al-Furqan (25:53
)And He is the One who has released the two seas, one fresh and sweet and the other salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and a partition.
Ras El Bar is widely seen as a real-life example of this natural sign, where the Nile (fresh water) meets the Mediterranean Sea (salt water), yet both remain distinct while flowing together
সাগর-নদীর মিলনস্থল – রাস এল বার
Ras El Bar হলো মিশরের একটি অনন্য উপকূলীয় গন্তব্য, যেখানে নীল নদ ও ভূমধ্যসাগর মিলিত হয়েছে। এই বিরল প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য এক অসাধারণ সৌন্দর্য তৈরি করে, যেখানে মিঠা পানি ও লবণাক্ত পানি একসাথে দেখা গেলেও তারা নিজস্ব বৈশিষ্ট্য বজায় রাখে।
এই বিষয়টি কুরআনে এভাবে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে:
📖 সূরা আর-রহমান (৫৫:১৯–২০)
“তিনি দুই সাগরকে মিলিত করেছেন; তাদের মাঝে একটি পর্দা আছে, তারা একে অপরকে অতিক্রম করে না।”
📖 সূরা আল-ফুরকান (২৫:৫৩)
এবং তিনি দুই সাগরকে মিলিত করেছেন—একটি মিঠা ও মিষ্টি, আরেকটি লবণাক্ত ও তেতো—এবং তাদের মাঝে একটি বাধা ও পর্দা স্থাপন করেছেন।
Ras El Bar-কে অনেকেই এই আয়াতের একটি বাস্তব উদাহরণ হিসেবে দেখেন, যেখানে নীল নদ (মিঠা পানি) ও ভূমধ্যসাগর (লবণাক্ত পানি) মিলিত হয়, কিন্তু আলাদা বৈশিষ্ট্য বজায় রাখে
