🚗 Bangkok – Phuket – Bangkok: A Road Trip Story – Part 5 (Final)
🚘 26 March 2026 | Chumphon → Bangkok | Sunrise to Goodbye | Final 465 KM
The last day.
The final morning of the road trip—an odd mix of emotions. A sense of fulfillment… and at the same time, a slight emptiness.
We both woke up early today—because the first plan of the day was to catch the sunrise.
🌅 A Quiet Sunrise by the Sea
As we sat by the beach, we realized—this was one of the most peaceful moments of the entire trip.
Soft light slowly spreading across the horizon,
the sky changing colors,
and the sun gently rising over the sea…
We sat there for a while, took a few photos, and simply absorbed the calmness and beauty of the moment.
🍳 Breakfast & Final Preparations
After sunrise, we headed for breakfast.
Once done, we returned to the room for a bit of rest, freshened up, and checked out.
Today’s drive—465 km. The final stretch of this journey.
🛣️ The Last Long Drive
The roads were just as smooth as before—almost like butter.
One interesting thing about the highway—
the minimum speed in the first lane was 100 km/h, and the maximum was 120 km/h.
So, it’s fair to say—today’s drive was in a complete “flow state.”
The car kept moving, the road kept unfolding… and slowly, this journey was coming to an end.
⛽ Letting Go of the Steering Wheel
The car return time was 7:30 PM—
But we reached the office by 6 PM and handed it over early.
After inspection, they simply said—“All OK.”
No hassle, no complications—just a smooth return. A big relief.
🌃 Last Night in Bangkok
From there, we took a Grab back to the hotel.
After freshening up, we headed out for dinner without delay.
Dinner done, back to the room, uploaded some photos…
And then—sleep.
💭 Final Thoughts
Tomorrow, a bit of exploring in Bangkok.
The day after, back home.
And then… back to office life.
These past few days felt like a completely different world.
1,800+ kilometers behind the wheel, new cities, new experiences—
In one word: worth it.

শেষ দিন।
রোড ট্রিপের শেষ সকাল—একটা অদ্ভুত মিশ্র অনুভূতি, একটু তৃপ্তি… আবার একটু খালি খালি লাগা।
ভোরেই আমরা দুজন ঘুম থেকে উঠে পড়লাম—আজকের প্রথম প্ল্যান, সূর্যোদয় দেখা।
🌅 ভোরের সমুদ্র আর শান্ত মুহূর্ত
বিচে গিয়ে বসতেই বুঝলাম—এই মুহূর্তটাই পুরো ট্রিপের সবচেয়ে শান্ত সময়গুলোর একটা।
চারদিকে হালকা আলো ফুটছে, আকাশ ধীরে ধীরে রঙ বদলাচ্ছে…
সূর্যটা আস্তে আস্তে উঠছে দিগন্তের ওপারে।
কিছুক্ষণ বসে, কিছু ছবি তুলে—এই নীরবতা আর সৌন্দর্যটা উপভোগ করলাম।
🍳 ব্রেকফাস্ট আর শেষ প্রস্তুতি
সূর্যোদয় দেখা শেষ করে ব্রেকফাস্টে গেলাম।
নাস্তা সেরে রুমে ফিরে একটু রেস্ট, তারপর ফ্রেশ হয়ে চেক-আউট।
আজকের ড্রাইভ—৪৬৫ কিমি, এই ট্রিপের শেষ ল্যাপ।
🛣️ শেষ লং ড্রাইভ
রাস্তা আগের মতোই মসৃণ—একদম “মাখনের মতো”।
হাইওয়েতে একটা ইন্টারেস্টিং ব্যাপার—
প্রথম লেনে ন্যূনতম গতি ১০০ কিমি, সর্বোচ্চ ১২০ কিমি।
তাই বলা যায়—আজকের ড্রাইভটা ছিল পুরোপুরি “flow state”-এ।
গাড়ি চলছে, রাস্তা এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে… আর ধীরে ধীরে এই ট্রিপটাও শেষের দিকে।
⛽ শেষবারের মতো স্টিয়ারিং ছেড়ে দেওয়া
গাড়ি ফেরত দেওয়ার সময় ছিল সন্ধ্যা ৭:৩০—
কিন্তু আমরা ৬টার মধ্যেই অফিসে পৌঁছে দিলাম।
চেকিং শেষে তারা বলল—“All OK”।
কোনো ঝামেলা ছাড়াই গাড়ি রিটার্ন—একটা বড় রিলিফ।
🌃 ব্যাংককে শেষ রাত
তারপর Grab নিয়ে হোটেলে ফিরে এলাম।
ফ্রেশ হয়ে আর দেরি না করে বের হলাম ডিনারের জন্য।
ডিনার সেরে রুমে ফিরে কিছু ছবি আপলোড—
আর তারপর… ঘুম।
💭 শেষের অনুভূতি
কাল একটু ব্যাংকক ঘোরা,
পরশু দেশে ফেরা,
আর তার পরের দিন—আবার অফিস।
এই কয়েক দিনের রোড ট্রিপ যেন একদম অন্য একটা জগৎ ছিল।
স্টিয়ারিং হাতে ১৮০০+ কিমি পথ, নতুন শহর, নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা—
সব মিলিয়ে এক কথায়—worth it।
