Hello, my name is Riasat Ali, 25 years old. I have traveled to 56 districts of Bangladesh and am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
I am offering myself as an independent travel guide, providing a one-stop travel solution for destinations within Bangladesh. My services include transportation ticket booking, hotel and resort arrangements, local transport management, food planning, and obtaining necessary permissions allowing travelers to focus entirely on the experience.
What distinguishes my service from conventional travel agencies is the academic and experiential depth I bring to each journey. Alongside travel logistics, I share insights into local histories, indigenous cultures, community life, and regional cuisines, shaped by my long-term travel experience and academic training in anthropology.
I particularly encourage travelers who wish to explore lesser-known regions and communities of Bangladesh, beyond popular and crowded destinations like Cox’s Bazar or Kuakata.
While my service can be supportive for elderly travelers who may need guidance, it is not limited to any specific age group or social category. I am equally interested in working with university students, middle-aged professionals, families, and senior travelers, as long as both parties are comfortable and mutually agree through discussion and negotiation.
Although I have extensive personal travel experience, this is my first experimental step into a commercial travel initiative. If this phase proves successful, I aspire to expand my work and eventually serve as a guide for international travelers interested in exploring Bangladesh beyond mainstream tourism.
I would also like to mention that I have a personal interest in the Sundarbans, and I am open to plan and guide trips there in a thoughtful and responsible manner.
