David’s story as a Tour Guide [EP6]

David shares a story that many tour guides will recognize. He was hosting four Canadian travelers nearing the end of a two-to-three-year stay in Bangladesh, before they returned home. David had planned to bring them to a village for a community tourism experience but by then the group had little interest in village life; they'd already spent years in the country and wanted a cityscape instead.

David talks through how he read the situation and adjusted, shaping the visit around what the guests actually wanted rather than what he'd planned; turning it into an experience they wouldn't forget. It's a reminder of what the job really comes down to: understanding the guest, and building the experience around them.
