4 Night/5 Days Nepal tour:
Day 01: Airport Pick up and Hotel check in (O/N at KTM)
Say Hello to Kathmandu Valley, the beating heart of Nepal, which is full of irresistible sights, smells and sounds. At every turn, you can see historic temples and palaces, catch glimpses of the Himalayas, or enjoy the many festivals such as Rato Macchendranath or Bhote Jatra that are celebrated on the streets. A fascinating combination of the old and the new, Kathmandu valley is home to six UNESCO world heritage sights. Apart from the major attractions, you can enjoy the valley’s Newari culture, especially its mouth-watering dishes such as chhoe-la and momos.

We will visit the holy Pashupatinath temple, and Bouddhanath stupa, as well as Kathmandu durbar squares, its unique history and architecture. We also visit small hilly station,Nagarkot.

A Taste of Kathmandu (3 Night/ 4 Days)

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and Hotel Check-In (Our Car will be stand by at Airport with Name board). (D)

Day 02: Breakfast at 8 am, followed by F/Day sightseeing. (B,L&D)

Breakfast and sightseeing for the first half of the day. We will visit the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most sacred sites for Hindus. Built in the pagoda style, the temple sits on the banks of the River Bagmati, and is a memorial to Lord Shiva. Here you can find sadhu babas in their colorful orange and yellow, devotees lined up to pray, colorful flowers and holy offerings, and cremation ceremonies at Arya Ghat, on the bank of the Bagmati. We will then go to Bouddhanath, an important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. The stupa looks beautiful at night when lamps are lighted. Monks, nuns and devotees all come here and chant prayers, light lamps, serve up offerings, or seek guidance on their spiritual journey.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is where you will find the home of Kumari, the living goddess of Nepal. Hanuman Dhoka palace is where Nepal’s kings lived until Narayanhiti was built, and houses a museum that chronicles Nepal’s royal history. The square bustles with activity and you can see vegetable markets, and stalls selling Nepali artifacts. You can walk to the square from Thamel, an experience in itself. Swayambhunath stupa sits high on a hilltop, and is a good vantage point to see all of Kathmandu. You will also be entertained by the mischievous monkeys that live around the temple.

Day 03: Breakfast and transfer to Nagarkot. Sunset view and over night at Nagarkot (B,L&D)
Nagarkot in Nepal is at an altitude of 7,201ft (2,195m), and situated 20 miles (30km) east of Kathmandu. A favorite weekend retreat for travelers to Nepal and residents from Kathmandu, Nagarkot has some of the finest views of the Himalayan mountain peaks in close proximity to Kathmandu. A chance to see village life in Nepal.

Day 04: Sunrise view and Breakfast and transfer to International Airport. That wraps up our trip, and we will leave for the airport today. (B)
