A lovely place in the heart of a quaint little town called Rila!

This urban lodge is a fine example of craftsmanship. The hosts resurrected an old and rusty house manually, with so many nice details that now add up to the ambience.

Hot recommendation for travellers who want to explore the area of UNESCO's iconic Rila Monastery, which offers lots of options for sports, hiking, wine tasting and all kinds of activities.

A favourite route of ours!
Three caves in a weekend, combined with a visit to the lovely Lovech town in the north-central part of Bulgaria.
Three different caves with millions of years of formations: Saeva Dupka, Prohodna with "The eyes of God", Devetashka cave - where some major action artists filmed a movie, the one-of-a-kind covered bridge in Lovech and more!

The trip was part of a program, teaching !

Etara - the finest open air museum in Bulgaria! Suitable for kids of all ages (0-100+). A very nice and concentrated example of crafts, arts and architecture standing just 15 minutes away from the World's Capital of Humour and Satire - Gabrovo.

The foggy and rainy weather makes it a bit more comfortable for a sip of coffee brewed on sand ;)

A great natural park, handled with a lot of care and preserving the wildlife as much wild as possible. We had the chance to see The Big 5 (even extended to The Big 7) plus many more different animals. Two days of safari, bringing people just a couple of metres from the lion's mouth!!
