So Little Time, Trips of a Life Time Time to Live

We as a family(Darren, Lynnda & Makala) started this page initially as a way to document our holiday through Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand & Hong Kong in April 2015, rather than fill our personal pages with our trip for all rellies/friends to see 3 times...lol. Any new trip/adventure with our friend is usually added (if we remember)

't really realise at the time, how precious the memory's and the time with Darren & Makala was till Oct 2015 when I was told I had Cancer. No matter what happens in life you will always have the memory or a picture of the times shared. Follow or not to follow is up to you.

So after venturing around the world, we touched down for a day to pick Makala up and venture to Flinders Island.
Climbed Mt Strzlecki yesterday and explored the island abit today....oh and it just so happens to be the Flinders Island Running Festival....so we topped of an awesome day with a naked run (no watch) and nominate your time run.

Flinders Island it's so pristine, tranquil, shhhh love this place.

City Tour yesterday morning, the Tango theatre late last night...bit of a sore head this morning. Visited Eve Peron grave and many others on tour, then wandered through a market back to hotel..... it was really interesting!!! More pics to come.

RIO DE JANEIRO apart from seeing Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, that amazing church and having a stroll along Copacbana Beach....which was all we did see, not sure there is much more to this city.

We thought it was rough and dirty. Was told to take any jewellry off before leaving the hotel as pick pocketing and snatching of necklaces were common. We felt on guard when out.

Wouldn't spend more than 2 days in city if planning on coming here.

Iguaza Falls, Brazil side as this is where we stayed, so so different from Rio, yes still a poorer community but the streets look like they care, they try.

It felt safe to walk around and not worry here. Other than the Falls and show not much else to do, we could have had more time on the Argentina side of falls to explore all trails in comfort and at a leisurely pace.

Darren and I broke off from the group to do the trail that included the stairs, it had to be was a quick walk/run as we had to be back with group at 2pm, would have loved to enjoyed just a little more.

Today we had a few optional extras to do if we wanted to on way to falls.

Helicopter ride over falls....hell yeah!!!

Boat ride to or under falls..... wet or dry....hell yeah!!!

Walk along falls....all to do.

Bird Park....yep....to see the tocan :)

Darren didn't do helicopter or boat due to the motion sickness issues....but I had a blast!

After a bit of confusion or mis communication between Trip a Deal and Rio guide (picking us up this morning at 7am and taking us to airport 40min away from hotel, for our 12:35pm flight.....) we are now i n Iguassu Falls Iguazu Falls, Brazil.

Not a lot of happy campers in the group...apart for us!!! Few others things haven't been greatly organised by Trip a Deal....but I'm sure they will learn from it.

We go to the Falls tomorrow and maybe do a few extra things.
