Meeting Joc James at the Black Travel Summit Travel Summit Brazil in Rio back in November 2025 was the beginning of something truly special. 💛

First, I met Joc. Then, through that connection, he invited Travel with Lady Chin ✈️ and other friends to join us for our Favela Cultural Experience. A few months later, in the middle of March 2026, Chi Chi returned to Rio with a friend, and this time we shared the beauty, history, and power of our Little Africa Tour together.

Now, in early April 2026, Joc is back again — this time bringing more friends to experience Little Africa with me and Florencios.

My heart is so full. What began as a meeting at Black Travel Summit has turned into something much deeper: trust, joy, reunion, and beautiful new friendships built through travel, culture, and shared experiences.

This is one of the greatest gifts of what I do. To welcome people not just as guests, but as part of a growing community that keeps coming back to Rio — and to us.

Over March 23 & 24, our guests didn’t just visit Rio…
