Thamo Telele, a boutique safari lodge located just outside Maun, Botswana, within a 250-hectare private game reserve along the Thamalakane River.

It was named after a tall baby giraffe named Thamo Telele, meaning “long neck” in Setswana.

The reserve is home to a resident herd of 20 giraffes, along with zebra, eland, kudu, ostrich, springbok, and over 300 bird species. With no large predators present, guests can safely explore the area on foot or horseback.
