Back from the wild — The Harbour Group recently explored the untamed beauty of Botswana on a once-in-a-lifetime safari.

Waking to the sounds of the bush, tracking big cats across open plains, and watching elephants roam at sunset — each day brought unforgettable encounters and raw, natural beauty.

“We had a rare and unforgettable experience from the moment we landed — from a warm airport welcome to a beautiful flight and the incredible time spent at an amazing camp in the Delta.

A special shoutout to our guide, KG, whose deep knowledge, generosity, and kindness gave us once-in-a-lifetime encounters on foot with lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, vultures, honey badgers, and even bat-eared foxes. Absolutely unforgettable.

We had an amazing time at Delta Camp in the Okavango Delta. Everything about the planning and communication was perfect. You were patient with my questions and changes. We thought Delta camp would be more rustic, and we were completely blown away by the experience and the hospitality. The room was so comfortable and the place so peaceful. All the connections and transfers via light aircraft and mokoro was flawless with minimal waiting time. We were greeted at every stage of the journey by warm smiles, and even the animals put on a welcome show. Our first sighting was from the plane and elephants greeted out mokoro journey. A giraffe crossed the waterway in front of us within minutes. Our best experience was one of the walking safaris where we tracked lions with Moja. We followed their tracks for over an hour and then we finally found a female with three cubs out on a hunt. As soon as we found the lions a pack of 11 African painted wild dogs came by. On the walk back to the mokoro we had to walk gently around 2 adult elephants who were only meters away. It was magic! I would highly recommend Lelobu safaris for an impeccable experience.
