Welcome to Pelican Cottage, a spacious retreat that feels more like a home than a rental. Nestled along a quiet stretch of Lake Manitoba waterfront with sweeping views of the water, our cottage was created as a place to truly slow down, recharge, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being away.
The heart of the property is the 800-square-foot deck, offering 180-degree water views and plenty of space to gather, sip morning coffee, or watch the sunset. It’s a spot where conversations linger and time feels unhurried.
We love that our cottage sits within a provincial bird habitat—on any given day you might catch sight of herons, eagles, songbirds and of course pelicans that make the area so special. Just down the road, you’ll find a free boat launch, making it easy to get on the water whenever the mood strikes.
Though not secluded, the neighborhood is peaceful and welcoming, offering the best of both worlds: a sense of privacy without feeling isolated. Evenings are best spent around the firepit under the stars, or curled up inside with the comfort of satellite Wi-Fi to stay connected when needed.
Our goal is to provide a space that’s clean, comfortable, and inviting—a true getaway for those looking to relax and do as much (or as little) as they like. Whether it’s a girls’ weekend, a family escape, or simply a chance to hit pause on everyday life, Pelican Cottage is the place to make memories.
