Such a great weekend jam packed full of family fun events in the North Shuswap! Kicked it off with the family dance at Celista hall, then onto marina shenanigans, chilli cook off, skating, bed races, scavenger hunt, fireworks and more! Such an amazing community ❤️ Thanks to ALL the businesses and people that put their time into making Family Day weekend so memorable.

We are a small business in the beautiful Shuswap of British Columbia, offering vacations with many properties and different amenities to choose from. From a peaceful cabin retreat in the woods, to a converted Sea Can with hot tub, a private waterfront oasis or relax poolside at a resort, we have what you need to unwind and reset. Come explore the beauty of our very own Shuswap Lake, plunge in the warm waters, soak in the sun on beach or go for a hike to one of our many local waterfalls.

Summer is booking up but we still have openings. We also have vacation rentals that operate year round so if a getaway is desired, we would love to host you any time of the year!

Besides summertime activities, our area has a lot to offer in the off-season as well, including local events at some of our amazing local businesses, bowling and arcade, shops, dining and more! The Adams River has one of the largest Sockeye salmon runs in North America, snowshoeing areas, skiing hills nearby with one being Sun Peaks Ski Resort (Canada’s second largest ski area) and the awesome Crowfoot Mountain for sledding!

The Shuswap vibe is like no other, and we invite you to come experience it!

With all this beautiful snow we just got, I figure a good time to share some great info posted by Shuswap Adventure Girl, for places in the Shu to Snowshoe! I highly recommend following Shuswap Adventure Girl for tips on any adventure seeking year round in the Shuswap. She’s my go-to 👌

❄️❄️GREAT SNOWSHOE AREAS:

1. Skimikin Lake Trails (link to map below- Trails are NOT well marked.) Awesome snowshoeing.

2. Skmana Nordic Trails - well marked, designated snowshoe trails and an adorable warming cabin.
User fees

3. Quaaout Lodge on Little Shuswap Lake- they offer tours too. Call ahead!

4. Blind Bay to White Lake Connector - 8 km one way traverse trail. Best to do as a two car system unless you want to do 16km round trip.

5. Larch Hills- a perfect day trip! Rentals available at Johns Ski Shack on the way up.

We just got a change of dates and now have an opening at the Shuswap Sea Can & Buoy Bar over Christmas! Dec 23-26.
