🎃 WE’RE KICKING OFF HARVEST PUMPKIN FESTIVAL FAMILY DAY!

It might be a little gloomy out, but that’s not stopping the fall fun! 🍂 Grab your cozy layers, bring the family and head down to the IPE Fairgrounds. We’re here until 2 PM!

🎃 Giant Pumpkin Weigh-In
🚀 The Great Pumpkin Launch
🎨 Kids’ crafts, face painting + hands-on activities
🐮 Moo-Bile Dairy Classroom
🔨 Live woodcarving + blacksmithing
☕ Coffee, food, local vendors + so much more!

🛍️ The Armstrong Farmers Market is happening until 12:30 PM, too!

Harvest Pumpkin Festival Family Day is happening TOMORROW at the IPE Fairgrounds, and there’s a whole lot of fall fun waiting for you!

From giant pumpkins and the Great Pumpkin Launch to hands-on kids’ activities, live demonstrations, entertainment, market finds and tasty treats, there’s something for everyone to get into. 🍂

📍 IPE Fairgrounds, Armstrong
🎟️ FREE admission + FREE family activities!

🛍️ Don’t forget! The Armstrong Farmers Market runs from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM in front of the Horticulture Building.

Your next little adventure is closer than you think. 🌲🥾

We rounded up some local trails worth adding to your Armstrong & Spallumcheen adventure list, from easy walks to trails that’ll get your legs working and your camera roll filling up.

📍 Thomas Hayes Ecological Park
A peaceful local favourite for wandering through forest, wetlands and wildlife habitat.

📍 Mount Rose Swanson
A whole network of trails to explore, including the Centennial and Aspen routes, with forested paths and beautiful valley views.

📍 Otter Lake Lookout
A short nature stop with a lookout over the lake and wetlands. Bring your binoculars, this is a great spot for birdwatching!

📍 Chip Trail
A local trail with a little something extra: there’s a disc golf course along the way! Just remember this one is best enjoyed outside of school hours.
