We’ve guided thousands of tours. Then we created RadWomen, and the way our guests behaved totally changed.

Our Head of Multi-Day Adventures, Sierra, brought women together in the wild places we love, and we started seeing a completely different side of our guests.

Women opening up about things they hadn’t expected to talk about on holiday. Finding out someone else was going through it too. Heading out on the trail the next morning with a little less on their shoulders.

There was plenty of laughing until it hurt, too. Put a group of women together for a few days and the inside jokes get out of hand pretty quickly.

What struck us was how quickly they went from being nervous on arrival, to totally relaxed and belly laughing by lunch time. How much they had to say. And how, with every day, saying goodbye became a little less appealing.

Sierra planned the adventures. The women made them something we couldn’t have written into an itinerary.

Today marks the final day of the 2026 Moraine Lake season, and what a summer it’s been!

Early alarms, golden sunrises, sunset magic, happy tears, surprise proposals, new friendships, and thousands of moments we’ll remember long after the road closes.

And with today being Thanksgiving, it feels like the perfect time to say a BIG thank you to every guest who joined us, and to our incredible team of RAD guides who make these experiences so special, day after day.

We’re pretty lucky to call this place our backyard. Even luckier that we get to share it with you.

Canada is giving your dream destinations a run for their money 🇨🇦

You’ve got Norway, New Zealand and Patagonia on your bucket list. We’d like to make a case for saving Canada a spot.

Our founder, Dale, has visited every destination in this carousel. His verdict? The Canadian versions are arguably just as iconic. With a little more elbow room.

The big boys are BUSY right now. 🦌

It’s elk rutting season in the Rockies, which means the bulls are putting on quite the show, bugling and occasionally going head-to-head with other males.

A little reminder though: rutting season also means bull elk can be especially unpredictable and aggressive. Admire them from a safe distance, never approach them for a photo, and always give wildlife plenty of space.

These are a few of our favourite big boys we’ve spotted lately. 👉

Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but this time of year in the Rockies certainly keeps things interesting.

Residential schools punished children for speaking their own languages. Yet Indigenous languages, names and knowledge endured.

Ho-run-num-nay - “Lake of the Little Fishes” - is the Stoney Nakoda name for the place now known as Lake Louise.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Our guides spend their days on trails, rivers and passes that Indigenous Peoples have known, named and cared for over millennia. Banff sits on Treaty 7 territory, a gathering place for the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Îyârhe Nakoda of the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations, the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Métis Nation of Alberta. The Bow Valley has long mattered to the Ktunaxa and Secwépemc Nations, too.

Today we’re remembering the children who never came home from residential schools, and honouring the Survivors, their families and their communities.

Reconciliation is year-round work. For us, it means listening more, learning the real history of the places we guide, and backing Indigenous-led businesses and knowledge keepers. We’ve got plenty still to learn.

Canada is nearly 10 million square kilometres. For the past year, we’ve been working on a collection of adventures that visit some of the wildest corners of this epic country.

We didn’t build these trips around the places receiving the most likes, or the most visitors. We searched high and low for the wild parts of Canada that make you wonder, “How did I not know this was here?”

Then we took our time.

Every journey has been meticulously shaped around what makes that place extraordinary: the landscapes that photos don’t do justice for, the stories that bring them to life, the people who know them best and the experiences that allow tourism to support, not overwhelm, the local and Indigenous communities who call them home.

There will be smaller groups. More time outside. A thoughtful balance of adventure and comfort. And far fewer moments spent jostling for the same photograph as everyone else.

This is Canada.
