Boutique Travel Services was proud to be a part of the inaugural ACTA Parliamentary Day with ACTA - Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors , bringing top leaders from all facets of the Canadian travel industry to Parliament Hill in advocacy for our industry. As the president of ACTA, Suzanne Acton- Gervais, puts it best, "travel is trade and an economic driver. Never has it been more important than to have the advice of a trusted travel advisor."

Our agency owner and CEO, Laurie Keith, met with some Members of Parliament yesterday to discuss the top issues affecting our industry including and . These MPs were very receptive to the recommendations we presented that align with building a strong and united economy for Canada.

Tomorrow I’ll be on Parliament Hill in Ottawa with Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors —something I’m truly proud of.

After 30+ years in this industry, it means a lot to have a seat at the table and be part of conversations that help shape its future.

Travel advisors do so much more than people realize, and I’m honoured to help represent that voice. We are an industry that drives economic growth, supports communities, and plays a vital role in how Canadians experience the world.
