I was lucky enough to sneak away on a quick moms’ trip to Palm Springs last November and one of the highlights was our self-guided stargazing in Joshua Tree National Park.

Let me tell you.…it was AMAZING

The photos make it look much brighter than it actually was thanks to night mode but in reality it was very dark and it was absolutely beautiful.

A few tips if you’re thinking about doing it:
- Bring a flashlight
- Pack layers for the cooler desert evenings
- Don’t go alone (we may have almost gotten lost a couple of times 😆)

If you’re a little adventurous and find yourself in the Palm Springs area, I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. It’s such a unique experience and honestly, I’d go back again just for this.

Over the last year I’ve been lucky enough to explore some pretty amazing places.

From family adventures and quick getaways to relaxing in the sun, every trip reminds me why I love travel so much. It’s not just the destinations, but the memories, experiences, and moments along the way.

Each trip was completely different, and that’s what I love most about travel. There’s something for everyone depending on your style, budget, and goals.
