It was a nice show after what feels like months of no activity. As the nights get longer, I anticipate we will have a few more nights like these in our future.
Solar Minimum is still a ways away, and even then.. Lots of great nights are to be had during minimum!

While they were out, the data weakened right before it got dark here in Manitoba. I was able to see them and even caught a brief substorm, but the Milky Way to the south stole the show for me!

Lunar Eclipse & Northern Lights Potential tomorrow!

Thursday night/Friday morning, we will experience a lunar eclipse! Be sure to keep your eyes on the skies, we have a chance at seeing some Aurora!

During totality, it is quite cool to see the Aurora get brighter. If you get lucky, you might see a substorm! I highly recommend timelapsing if you get a chance!

We sure did! It was great to see them after what felt like forever!
