I’m not really a camping girl… but this? This is absolutely my kind of Alaska adventure.

A few years ago, we sailed to Alaska with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Wonder as a family, and this summer my husband and I are heading back on the Disney Magic.

Was every day sunny and warm? Nope. We had an unusually cold week, and yes, jackets were needed. But honestly, it didn’t take away from the magic at all. Cozy drinks on deck, mountain views, waterfalls, Disney characters in their Alaska outfits, salmon jumping, breakfast with a view, and even a whale bubble feeding right in front of the ship in Ketchikan.

Alaska with Disney is such a special mix of adventure, comfort, family memories, and Disney magic.

What's Disney Cruise bingo really like - and can you actually win? 🤔
Let me tell you...after playing on several previous cruises and never winning anything, I won TWICE during one session on the Disney Magic! Talk about unexpected! 🎉

The setup: We bought an $80 USD family pack (2 digital + 2 paper cards). I played the digital cards, which are AMAZING - they automatically mark numbers and even show when you're just 1-2 numbers away from BINGO. 📱 My daughter and her friend used the paper ones. ✏️

The results: First prize was $44 USD, second was $291 USD. Both games had multiple winners splitting the advertised prize, so we're not retiring early 😂 but it absolutely paid for extra souvenirs! 🎁

Plot twist: My daughter decided not to split the cost, so she didn't get to split the winnings either! But I bought her DCL ears afterwards and told her we could share them for future cruises. It was the Mom thing to do! 👍

Here's what most people don't realize - Disney Cruise bingo isn't just about winning money. It includes music, dancing 💃, jokes, and SO much energy from the crew members leading it. 🎶 Even on past cruises when I didn't win, I had a great time! 😊

My advice: Arrive early for seats and to buy cards (lines get longer as the cruise goes on, as do the costs to enter play and the jackpot amounts). Decide your budget beforehand and go with a "paying for fun" mindset. 💸 If you win - bonus! 🎊 If not, you and your kids still had a blast.

Oh, and my daughter's friend? This was her first Disney cruise, so she watched me win twice during her first bingo session. I may have accidentally given her slightly unrealistic expectations! 🤣

Why do so many Disney cruisers decorate their stateroom doors? 🚪✨ It's one of those magical little traditions that just makes me smile! 🏰😊

The Disney Magic is PACKED with Rapunzel vibes (Tangled: The Musical 🎶, Rapunzel's Royal Table 🍽️, character experiences 🎭), so spotting these Tangled doors during my April sailing was extra exciting for me! 💜🤩 Walking the hallways to deliver my Fish Extender gifts 🎁 becomes its own adventure! 🚶‍♂️🌟

What I love: This isn't something Disney does - it's 100% guest-created magic ✨🤗. Totally optional, totally fun 🎉. Simple or elaborate, each door tells a story 📖.
