This is a FREE resort activity families love. One of the sweetest FREE activities at Walt Disney World has to be their Movies Under the Stars nightly events.

All Disney resorts host nightly outdoor Disney movie screenings where families can relax together after a busy park day. I know, I know, leaving the parks early and sacrificing precious ride time seems wasteful, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. These moments can become some of the most unexpectedly magical parts of the trip. Here’s why:

It’s a low-pressure evening activity and no lines

It’s downtime after the over-stimulation of the parks

Your room is just steps away when eyes get heavy

While they are having the time of their lives, you can slip away to the adults-only pool or a quiet dinner at Palo. 🥂

Here is how Disney sets the stage for every age group:

👶 “it’s a small world” nursery! (Ages 6 mos–3 yrs): Whimsical, safe, and incredibly nurturing.
