You know that feeling when you're on vacation and everything just... works? That was Celebrity Cruises for me this past February. 🌊

I've sailed a lot of different lines over the years, and when I booked this Caribbean trip with a group of friends and family, I wasn't looking for something new. I was going back to something I already loved, to see if it still delivered. It did. Completely.

The customer service was outstanding, and the Martini Bar was a definite highlight. Those two things honestly sum up what makes Celebrity different. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff knew our names, anticipated what we needed, and created this atmosphere where relaxing felt effortless. Not performative. Just genuinely attentive in a way you don't always find.

The Martini Bar became my evening ritual. Watching the bartenders work on that frozen bar top, the ice forming beneath your glass, the easy conversations with fellow travellers. It's sophisticated without ever feeling stuffy. I kept coming back every night, and I'd do it again without hesitation. ✨

One practical tip I always pass along to clients, and it made a real difference on this trip: board as early as you possibly can. Those first few hours before the crowds arrive are amazing. We grabbed pool chairs, had a leisurely lunch, and were already fully relaxed before we even set sail. It completely changes how the trip begins.

I also spent a good part of this voyage paying close attention to the Concierge Class passengers and what their experience looked like up close. Celebrity cruise line has a lot to offer any client who enjoys being pampered, and if your budget allows, I would absolutely look into Concierge Class or higher. The perks are real and the difference is noticeable. It's already on my list for my next sailing.

This line isn't for everyone, and I mean that in the best way. There are no waterslides or character breakfasts here. It's for adults who want great food, great service, and a pace that actually feels like a vacation. If that sounds like you, I'm confident it will feel like coming home after your very first sailing.

Third trip to Hawaii, and it still managed to blow me away. 🌺

You'd think after two visits, I'd have it all figured out. But spending two full weeks between Oahu and Maui with my husband showed me just how much I'd been missing — and honestly, that's one of the things I love most about these islands. They keep revealing themselves to you.

This time, we finally made it to the North Shore of Oahu, which was a place I had never been on my previous trips. The vibe there is completely different from Waikiki — laid back, unhurried, the kind of place where you want to park yourself with a shave ice and just watch the surfers do their thing. I kept thinking, "Why did I wait so long to get here?"

But the moment that really stopped me in my tracks? Kualoa Ranch. I'd heard about it for years. I knew it from movies. Nothing could have prepared me for actually standing there, surrounded by those mountains, feeling the history of that land all around me. No other words needed just stunning!

Here's the practical tip that changed everything for us on this trip: rent a car and download the GuideAlong app. 🚗 This combination let us explore both islands completely on our own schedule — no tour buses, no rushing — and I can say with confidence that by using this app, I saw the top sites of both Maui and Oahu. That's not something I say lightly as a travel advisor. It's genuinely that good.

Oh, and one more thing — we added an overnight layover in Vancouver on the way over. Game changer for adjusting to the time difference, and getting to visit a friend was a bonus! We arrived in Hawaii refreshed and ready to go from day one instead of losing precious time to jet lag. ✈️

Hawaii is made for people who love the outdoors, crave incredible food, and want to slow down long enough to actually feel something. The golf courses are world-class, the scenery is breathtaking, and the restaurants? Don't even get me started. This is a destination that rewards you for showing up with an open heart and a flexible itinerary.
