FireWorks Copper and Glass

FireWorks Copper and Glass Copper Enamel Jewelry and Home Decor We melt thin layers of glass onto pure copper at 950°C./1800°F. Our jewellery prices range from $12.50 to $35.00.

Successive layers are laid down freehand to build our original designs. Hot steel is scrolled through molten glass to create impressions of waves, feathers, or fire. Brilliantly coloured jewellery, bowls, dragonflies, clocks, hooks, light switch covers, fish, and birds, will delight you with this unusual fusion of glass and metal. Our prices range from $8.50 for decorative magnets to up to $200 fo

r wall art pieces. Hooks, birds, switchplate covers, and clocks range from $30 to $70. These are very affordable one-of-a-kind items. Lorna Robin has been creating enamelled art since 1991, and was joined in 2005 by Helene Carter. FireWorks Copper & Glass are founding members of “The Artisans of Crawford Bay”, and share “The Forge and Furnace Gallery” with Kootenay Forge ironwork and Moonrakings Clay Art. Be sure to visit our workshop in Crawford Bay, B.C., and enjoy all the artisans. Visit www.artisansofcrawfordbay.com for more information about the artisans in our area. Falling For, continued
Darker nights and brighter leaves,
Mountain ash branches bend under pumpkin clusters,
Firewood stacked tall,
Digging potatoes, planting garlic.
The smell of roasting hazelnuts, and last of the ripe tomatoes.
