We are not afraid to get a little dirty to get the job done right.

In this picture we are working on a 1960's house that had little to no air ventilation in the attic. Prior to re-insulating the attic to an R50 we installed air chutes to help with the air flow coming in from the soffits that were previously covered.

Air flow and insulation work hand in hand in an attic. Without one system working properly the other will fail as well.

Low ventilation traps heat and moisture which condense into water. That water drips on the existing insulation compacting it and reducing the R value. Not to mention the problems it could create on the other surfaces that are susceptible to mold.

When hiring an insulation company make sure they not only understand the functions of the insulation itself but all the other systems it is connected to.
