We’ve had a few common questions come up, so we want to clearly outline what is currently offered and why.

Richardson Backcountry Services × Pearson Lake Outfitters

We’re working in partnership with Pearson Lake Outfitters with a clear, focused goal: to provide reliable equipment rentals and emergency recovery support for access in and out of Pearson Lake.

That’s it. On purpose.

Our services are designed to support guests during their journey in and out, particularly in remote or changing conditions, so the focus stays on the experience at the cabins rather than the logistics of getting there.

We’ve chosen to start narrow and do this one piece well. As operations settle and guest needs become clearer, we’ll reassess what, if anything, makes sense to offer next.

For now, clarity and consistency matter more than expansion. Sometimes doing one thing well is exactly the point.
