I can’t believe I went to a concert by myself! 🫣

What a great experience! I had a perfect spot because someone didn’t show up 🤭 & I heard an amazing artist!

Highly recommend trying out activities on your own.

In 2025, I chose to put myself out there and try more things. The goal- to live intentionally and enjoy this thing called life.

I’m feeling truly blessed for the growth, the lessons, and everything that’s still ahead.

Had to bring out the garbage (yellow) mitts for my first time skating on the canal. I haven’t skated since I lived in Yellowknife so I was a bit shaky, but it was still so much fun.

Fun fact, the canal is the longest skating rink in the world! 🌎 ⛸️

Fun fact: We do tulips in Ottawa, I’m not sure when it started or the history behind it, but Ottawa loves tulips. In a few weeks tulips will be in full bloom and the tulip festival will begin. 🌷

My friend came to visit me last week and we tried so many local spots in Ottawa.

Here are all the places we ate at:

📍Whalesbone - we had declious seafood which consisted of raw scallops, curried mussels, cavier fritters and homemade fries.

📍Fairmount Chateau Laurier - sticky toffee pudding

📍Tartelette Bakery & Cafe - we tried the trending crookie (combination of a cookie and croissant) and a saffron latte.

📍Wilf & Ada- duck eggs benedict and home fries. Not sure why there are darker in colour, but it appears it’s the style of how they cook them.
