Icy Strait Point- Hoonah, Alaska

We combined a marine mammal cruise with a gondola ride and had the most incredible day.
We easily fit both activities into our port day and got to experience the most majestic humpback whales- our first time seeing whales and I cried I was so happy, followed by a (steep!) breathtaking gondola ride! 🐋🚠

We played on the shores and left a mark for this special day. 🏔️✨

First port stop- Skagway 🏔️🚂

We spent the day moving through Skagway’s history in the most unforgettable way. First, we got to see the incredible power and energy of Alaska’s husky athletes at the musher's camp- and snuggle up with some adorable puppies! Next, we swirled cold mountain water in our pans, chasing that 1898 gold rush rush. Finally, we climbed aboard the vintage rail cars of the White Pass & Yukon Route. Watching the jagged mountain peaks and deep gorges roll past our windows made us wonder how on earth these people built this incredible railway through the mountains !!🏔️

🧊 Glacier Day 🧊

Traded our regular routine for sky high blue ice and crisp mountain air! 🏔️
I knew to have high expectations for this day, but I can honestly say it was even better. Watching the scenery change while sipping complimentary hot cocoa and munching on warm chocolate chip cookies, seeing the characters in their special Alaska outfits, meeting rare characters- 🐻hi Koda! This was a core memory day we will never forget.
🚢When a ship of 2700 falls silent as you glide through these special waters, it sends an emotional chill through you but also a calming awe.
Truly, photos don’t do justice to this day.
It really was pure magic ✨

🌊Sea Day- Second day aboard the Disney Magic🚢

We enjoyed a slow start to our morning and woke up quickly when we started spotting whales from the top deck! By the time we headed to lunch we were up to 20!! 🐋🫍
3/4 of us played shuffleboard and enjoyed a simple meet up with our favourite diva, 🌼Daisy Duck- while the other one made some international friends at her tween club and decided to play some trivia games for the afternoon! 🌎
This was our formal night on this cruise (optional but always fun to dress up!) and our first night at
👸🏼Rapunzel’s Royal Table 💜restaurant to celebrate her birthday with some Ruffians!
Fun Fact- room service is INCLUDED with your cruise fair with Disney Cruise Line and that also includes Mickey ice cream bars! ❤️🍦

Our first day on the Disney Magic!
Our first time on Disney Cruise Line’s first cruise ship!
We checked out the kids dedicated spaces (Oceaneer Club- complimentary with your cruise fare), explored the top decks while we cruised underneath the iconic Lions Gate Bridge, of course had chicken tenders and ice cream (also included) and then headed to unpack in our Oceanview Stateroom before we had dinner at Animator’s Palate with Mickey himself making an appearance!
It was a wonderful first day exploring our home for the next week!

We spent one perfect day in Vancouver before our cruise! 🚢
First we took the SkyTrain from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) straight to the Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver. We walked to our nearby hotel, dropped our bags off and then took a stroll through the beautiful trees of Stanley Park, visited the Vancouver Aquarium, and finished our night with a fabulous dinner at Cactus Club Cafe! ✨

We just returned from our incredible Disney Cruise Line voyage to Alaska, and I am still in awe.
Waking up to snow-capped mountains, spotting whales right from the deck, and then heading inside for world-class Broadway-style shows and gourmet dining with a touch of Mickey magic is a combination you truly cannot beat.
