Things that you were oblivious to before the "Plant Walk" will suddenly be everywhere you look and you will wonder why you never noticed them before. You'll find yourself watching where you're stepping. You will find yourself feasting on the seasonal berries and cherries and trying to remember the locations we visited. You will be introduced to many new plants, not only those that are edible but those that have medicinal and physical uses. The recipient can then use the gift card amount to put towards offered events or skills courses.

Haven't heard from us in a while. Wonder what happened? Here's the update. Every fall I take October and November off for my personal traditional big game hunts. During this time I am out of cell phone and internet service except for short periods of time when I'm home to rest, re supply, and clean up. Now that I'm done I'm looking forward to the 2025 season. During December I will be helping "Keeper's of the Wild" with skills events should they have any bookings. I will also be adding new events to our 2025 calendar. Any suggestions for events you'd like to see offered or suggestions regarding duration and pricing would be appreciated. In addition, thanks to a suggestion by Denise Black, we are now offering gift cards for sale on our website at https://www.comewalkwithmeadv.ca just in time for the holiday season.

Its that time of year again! The time when outdoor enthusiasts become disoriented in the bush for a variety of reasons and get lost in the bush. That is not the time to try and figure out how to use that map and compass you carried in your pack or worse (never carried on your person or pack.) Don't be that person! Just a reminder the last "Plant Walk" of the season was scheduled for Saturday 7 September 2024 but due to forecast weather conditions the event will be rescheduled to Sunday 08 September 2024. Last Saturday's "Plant Walk" was a success although it was light on participants due to looming and forecast weather conditions. Given the option of cancelling the event and rescheduling to another date Andrea spoke up for the group stating, "Were not made of sugar!" Well the rest is history! None of us melted although we were a "little damp" by lunch time. All participants were troopers and I'm sure they all have stories to tell. The last "Plant Walk" of the season is scheduled for Saturday 7 September 2024. Be a participant and have your own stories to tell!
