Now in its thirteenth year, it’s the dining experience where anything can (and will) go wrong.

You the audience become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant, pretty much anything can happen - because 70% of the show is improvised. The fun will start as you wait to be seated. It then hurtles along in a 2-hour tour de force of gags and shambolic service as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a 70’s style 3-course meal together with a good dollop of mayhem.

Don’t put off those bucket list adventures …..

It’s been a busy week for me at Box River Travel Boutique, I have gained more new clients - this lovely couple are off to India 🇮🇳 in October.

They will be flying into Mumbai and spending 3 nights at the Taj Mahal Tower, a 5⭐️ deluxe hotel 🏨 overlooking the Gateway of India.

Whilst here they will partake in some pre planned excursions to Elephanta Island and a Mumbai city tour.

Then the next part of the adventure - catching the Vistadome train 🚆 to North Goa. This takes around 8-9 hours but they’ll be in comfy chairs and will have panoramic views allowing them to see the beauty of the Western Ghats as they travel along.

After a long day of travel they will be pleased to transfer to the Chalston Beach Resort for 11 nights. Situated in the vibrant resort of Calangute, the hotels central location is ideal for exploring the colourful craft stalls at the local market and variety of restaurants and bars.
The resort has two inviting pools and a lovely lawn area with sunbeds overlooking the beach and Arabian Sea 🌊.

I have booked them a Deluxe Cottage which is nestled in the gardens just 200m from the beach front.

I hope they save some room for me in their cases 🧳 as I’m fancying this trip myself 😁

More new clients gained - this lovely pair are off to experience the bright lights of New York 🇺🇸this December.

They are going to be staying at the Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square for 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis, an American breakfast will certainly set them up for a full day of sightseeing.

The hotel is positioned a stones throw from Broadway 🎭 and Times Square, they’ll be so close to the cities main sights. Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall are within 500 metres of the hotel 🏨, while Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building are less than a miles wander.

New York in December is magical 🎄, they are going to have a super time.

My lovely client has made it safely to Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 for the start of her Mount Hagen Festival Tour.

She has already caught an early morning flight ✈️ into the highlands and has visited a market, she loves looking round the local markets.

Prevent a holiday cold 🤧

1. Before you go: Make sure you get plenty of rest and eat well to help bolster your immune system.

2. At the airport: Wash your hands regularly with soap 🧼 and water 💦 and try not to touch your face. Use disinfectant wipes during and after a flight on surfaces like your mobile phone 📱, the flight table or armrests.

New clients gained, this lovely couple are celebrating a milestone anniversary next year - 30 years!

They are treating themselves to a 4 night stay in Venice 🇮🇹. I found a gorgeous 4⭐️ hotel 🏨 called Concordia right in the heart of the city overlooking Piazza San Marco (St Marks Square)

The hotel has 51 rooms decorated in the manner of 18th century Venice, as it’s such a special celebration I’ve booked them into a junior suite with views over St Marks Square and the Basilica.

The hotel has a lounge bar and a massage room which they may wish to relax in after a day sightseeing.

The hotel can be easily reached from the airport, it’s just a 45 minute transfer - you can catch Alilaguna Shuttle Service (water bus) or Water Taxi 🚤
