Hi everyone, my name is Kathy and I thought I would give you a bit about how this idea came into effect.
I had a friend who owned his home in the Hamilton area but he was being relocated to Florida for work purposes and he was leaving before he could finish getting his house in order. He started the process of preparing everything and thought he would be able to go back and forth in order to complete his transition.
I offered to help him if he needed someone, to pick up mail, to shovel, to just check on things and to make it appear that someone was home. He took me up on my offer and off he went. We were able to communicate by email, text and telphone when needed.
I am not sure what thoughts my friend had when he gave me keys to his house, but he had put his trust in me to take care of things for him here when he couldn't.
He already had a couple of real estate agents go through his house to give him estimates, but he decided to have one more while he was away. Well it turned out that this agent had tried to list the house without his consent and I was able to stop this shady salesman from doing this, and together we were able to get the house listed with the agent he wanted, this took away a stress and worry for him.
His pipes froze, and because I was there to check on things and I was able to let him know right away, he was able to give me instructions on what steps to use before calling in professional help which could have ended up with huge costs. Luckily, no damage had occured and things were fine.
I was able to help him with his home and take away any stress and worry for him and minimized any possible damages that may have occured while he was unable to.
So my idea for "worrynot" was formed. I can do all this for anyone who may need my services while they are away or moving.
I am trust worthy and I will take care of your home because I know that your home is your biggest material asset own and it should be looked after.
