I’m not sure there’s ever been another Disney character that has guests more divided than Figment. People seem to either love him or just wish he got a one-way refurb trip to the attraction boneyard. Like him or not, that purple dude has got some serious history & staying power.

The original attraction ran from 1983-1998, then reimagined from 1999-2001 in an effort to jazz up the pavilion a bit. Guests hated the absence of the Dreamfinder and a limited Figment role and made their voices heard. One last refurb hit in 2002 making Figment the star of the show once more.

Where do you stand on the officially unofficial mascot of EPCOT? Are you pro-Figment or ready for something new?

Did you know some areas of Caribbean Beach Resort are THIS CLOSE to the Riviera?

Not to knock the food and amenities at Caribbean Beach (because they’re pretty great) but Riviera definitely has some of the best coffee you can find, and it is nice to have so many options so close!

Just when it feels like winter will never end, Flower and Garden enters the chat.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 4th through June 1st this year, so there’s still lots of time to say goodbye to slushy snow piles and hello to bright topiaries representing your favorite characters

It feels like not too long ago, you could leave the comfort of your Walt Disney World resort, head over to enjoy a day at Universal Orlando and feel like you’ve conquered the “other” side. Not any more, folks. Universal is in it to win your hearts and your hard earned vacation dollars!

Now with THREE major, jam packed theme parks and arguably the best water park around in Volcano Bay, this is not the kind of place you can just breeze into for the day anymore. Universal Orlando has easily become a week long destination, and honestly, I’m here for it!

Aside from the exhilarating attractions, there are amazing shows, delicious dining options, great shopping, and 11 awesome on-property resort options. This is no longer the Universal you spent the day at in the 90s.

The After Hours events at Walt Disney World offer a taste of the OLD Extra Magic Hours that were included for on-property guests and lasted sometimes until 1:00am!

While it’s a premium charge, the low waits, low crowds and included popcorn, ice cream and drinks really make it worth the cost! Have you been to an After Hours event yet?
